Welcome to Happiness Garden.
In today's video, I will share with you how to care for orchids using simple natural fertilizer
at home.
To prevent diseases, help the plant grow healthily, and bloom beautifully all year round.
If you want your garden to always be filled with vibrant flowers, healthy orchids, and
glossy green leaves, with new shoots continuously emerging, and abundant flower buds, then don't
miss this video.
Let's get started.
The first ingredient is a sprouted potato.
I will peel the potato and remove the sprouts, then cut it into small pieces.
The potato sprouts contain many important natural nutrients such as starch and B vitamins,
minerals and bioactive compounds that help stimulate cellular vitality.
When used properly, these nutrients will promote strong root development, helping new roots
grow quickly, stay healthy, and enhance the ability to absorb water and nutrients.
At the same time, potato sprouts also help awaken dormant buds and stimulate the formation
of new shoots earlier, helping the orchid grow in a balanced way, with glossy green
leaves, strong stems, and creating a solid foundation for stronger, more even, and more
beautiful bud formation and blooming.
Potato peels are also a part that is very rich in natural nutrients.
Potato peels contain many minerals such as potassium, calcium, and magnesium, along with
B vitamins, vitamin C, and antioxidants.
The second ingredient I use is ripe banana peels.
Banana peels are very rich in potassium, K, an essential nutrient that helps stimulate
bud and flower formation, making the flowers larger, more vibrant in color, and longer
lasting.
In addition, banana peels also contain phosphorus, calcium, magnesium, and many natural trace
elements, helping the root system develop strongly, the stems and leaves become sturdy
and reducing plant weakness.
I put all the ingredients into a clean jar, then add 1 liter of warm water.
To allow the nutrients in the potato and banana peels to be easily released and dissolved,
I ferment this mixture for 5 hours.
After soaking for the required time, I pour out the mixture and filter out all the residue,
keeping only the nutrient-rich liquid.

Next I add 500 milliliters of clean water to dilute it, helping the solution reach a
safe for the roots, and helping the orchid absorb it more easily, allowing the plant
to grow healthily and steadily.
Once the mixture is ready, step one, I use a cotton pad to soak the solution and gently
apply it to the surface of the orchid leaves.
This seemingly simple method brings many wonderful benefits.
The nutrients from potato sprouts and banana peels will be absorbed directly by the leaves,
nurturing the leaf tissue, helping the leaves become dark green, glossy, healthy, and enhancing
the overall vitality of the plant.
At the same time, these precious micronutrients will stimulate strong root growth and the
rapid sprouting of new shoots, allowing the plant to accumulate enough energy to produce
uniform buds, large, vibrant flowers that last longer.
This natural mixture also helps the orchid boost its immunity, resisting diseases and
adverse environmental factors, bringing you the joy of seeing your plant healthy, thriving,
full of vitality, and blooming all year round.
Step two, I pour the mixture directly onto the substrate so that the nutrients penetrate
deeply into the roots.
This method helps the roots grow strong, stimulating new shoots and branches to sprout evenly,
while also enhancing the overall vitality of the plant, making the leaves glossy, the
stems sturdy, and the flower buds form quickly.
Additionally, the substrate enriched with natural nutrients helps retain moisture better
and balances the microbiome, allowing the orchid to grow evenly.
With lush green leaves, a sturdy stem, and ready for vibrant flowers that bloom beautifully
and last long all year round.
This is exactly the secret to keeping your orchid garden vibrant and full of life.
You should only water this mixture once a week, so the orchid absorbs just the right
amount of nutrients, avoiding over-fertilization or root rot.
Regular watering habits help the plant grow evenly, with strong roots and consistent new
shoot growth.
While the leaves stay glossy, the stem remains sturdy, and the plant accumulates energy for
uniform bud formation and long-lasting blooms.
Step three, I pour the mixture into a clean spray bottle and evenly mist it over all the
orchid leaves, including both the upper and lower surfaces.
Spraying the underside of the leaves is especially important because this is where many stomata
are concentrated.
These tiny pores help the leaves exchange gases and absorb water and nutrients.
When the solution comes into contact, the vitamins, minerals, and natural starch from
the potato sprouts and banana peels are absorbed directly by the leaves, nourishing the leaf
tissue, making the leaves dark green, glossy, healthy, and thick.
At the same time, some of the nutrients will seep down to the roots through the leaves,
promoting strong root growth, new shoots to sprout quickly, and flower buds to form evenly
healthy and long-lasting.
Evenly spraying the leaves also helps boost immunity, reduce pests and diseases, and minimize
environmental stress, allowing the orchid to grow balanced, full of vitality, and bloom
brilliantly all year round.
We should only spray this mixture once a week so the orchid leaves absorb just the right
amount of nutrients, without excess, preventing the plant from being overloaded or experiencing
growth disorders.
Step 4.
I use a soft cotton pad to evenly dab the remaining mixture onto the orchid leaves.
This helps nutrients such as vitamins, minerals, potassium, phosphorus, and starch from potato
sprouts and banana peels adhere firmly and penetrate deeply into the leaf tissue, nourishing
the leaves from the inside out, making them dark green, thick, glossy, healthy, and resilient.
Additionally, it helps distribute nutrients evenly throughout the plant, preventing waste,
while also enhancing the plant's ability to resist pests, diseases, and environmental
stress, allowing the orchid to develop fully, grow strong, and bloom brilliantly all year
round, creating a garden full of vitality and joy for the caretaker.
After completing the care steps, place the orchid in a spot with gentle sunlight, avoiding
direct harsh sunlight.
Gentle light will help the leaves absorb energy for effective photosynthesis, and promote
strong growth of roots and new shoots, while also allowing the nutrients from the mixture
to penetrate the plant more quickly.
After a period of care, my orchids have grown many new branches, and each branch full of
young buds ready to bloom brilliantly.
The new shoots grow strong, the leaves are glossy, and the stems sturdy, creating a lively
and vibrant picture of the orchid.
This is clear evidence of the effectiveness of natural fertilizer and proper care techniques,
helping the plant not only stay healthy, but also produce uniform branches, numerous buds,
and long-lasting, beautiful blooms all year round.
Be patient in caring for each step, and the joy of seeing each bud swell, ready to burst
into bloom will be a well-deserved reward for you.
Um, thank you for watching until the end of the video.
Be patient, and care lovingly, for each orchid, for the joy of seeing new shoots and flower
buds bloom will be the greatest reward.
