Meeting Baby Cheetah For First Time And It Was Emotional

My friend Andie Haugen is a Senior Cat Ambassador Trainer at the zoo and she wanted me to meet a little girl that is very special to her heart. Baby cheetah Rozi is that little special girl. Cheetahs happen to be my favorite animal on this planet and I was able to meet one at one of my favorite facilities I've ever visited!

Cheetah moms do not receive enough stimulation from a single cub to produce an adequate milk supply, so Rozi couldn’t be cared for by her mom at Wildlife Safari in Oregon. The Association of Zoos and Aquariums’ Cheetah Species Survival Plan (SSP) identified Cincinnati Zoo as the best place for the cub to be raised.
