OUR WEDDING

My sweet, I cannot believe today is actually here. Just a few hours. I'll be your wife for life. I love you so much. And I'm so excited to marry you. New life with you. You're my biggest inspiration, my best friend, and the love of my life. You want to know what I'm most excited for? After all the goodbyes, we get to go home together forever. I'm so blessed to have you, and I know our marriage will be so fun. Dear Jessica, It's exactly 18 hours until we are both Mr. and Mrs. Conte, and I have never been more excited about anything in my entire life. From the day I first met you, I have continually been in awe of how incredibly kind, loving, and godly you are. What I am most proud of from this past year with you is how unbelievably confident you have become both in yourself and in your relationship with the Lord. As our journey together continues, I know we will both grow in ways we wouldn't have ever dreamed. Our long adventure together called life will have so many smaller adventures all strung together to create such an amazing journey I wouldn't want to take with anyone else. I love you endlessly, Jessica. That was so beautiful. Everyone else here has sort of said a lot of what I truly believe about Jessica and Gabby. You guys met in a crazy way, but you are just perfect for each other. You complement each other so amazingly, and I have said this so many times. I couldn't pick a better partner for my sister. Gabby, you're my brother. You're my best friend. I love you so much. Gabby, I'm so happy for you. I see how happy you are with Jess, and that's just makes me so happy. I love you. And uh, and Jess, for the time that I've gotten to know you and see your pure heart, it's just unbelievable. And whenever anybody asks me about you, like who you are and what kind of person you are, I always tell them that it's unbelievable that my brother has been able to find somebody like you on the complete opposite side of the world. And um, I see how you care for my brother, how you uphold my brother, and how you love my brother, and just I see how happy you make him. And that makes me really happy. What I'm most looking forward to from today is never having to leave Jess again. Just through like all the distance that we've had to go through and just the long times apart, sometimes months at a time, it's really been hard and uh, it sucks, but um, Jess, I wouldn't want to, I wouldn't want to have done that without you, that's what I could do with you and uh, today we're uh, kicking distance in the bar. Father God, Jess and I come to you now and um, we just want to thank you so much for uh, for giving us such an amazing opportunity to come together in marriage and be united as one under you and just to live a life together in unity and uh, with the hope that um, that we'll see you one day at the end of our journey. I will never forget how it felt saying goodbye every time, wishing I could have hugged you for a few more seconds or that I had kissed you once more. I will never forget when you'd text me good morning as I was going to sleep and I will never forget the hours of FaceTime when we'd call each other just to be in each other's company. Today is a celebration. It's a huge celebration for those who are here, for those who have traveled very far, a celebration of love, of commitment, of friendship, of family and of two people who are one madly in love with each other and are committing to be in it forever. I can remember the night clearly when you had both my hands clutched in yours and my forehead resting on your shoulder. With my eyes filled with tears, I solely expressed to you my greatest fear that one day either I will have to complete my journey on this earth without you or you without me. But until then, with the understanding that every good and perfect gift comes from the Lord, Jesus, I promise to you, Jess, my perfect gift, that I will always remain faithful and honest. I promise to love you, cherish you, and care for you every single day. For the remainder of our time together on this side of eternity, I promise to keep our Savior, Jesus Christ, as the core and foundation of our relationship and family. In the moment we've all been waiting for, Mr. and Mrs. Conte. For as long as you could talk and walk, you've had your heart set on something American. And now you've got it. I think it truly is destiny. You two are perfect for each other and you were always meant to meet. So, you know, we couldn't be happier. Gabe and family, what a beautiful family we are now connected to. We're so excited.
