He lines up next to some of his fiercest EMX125 rivals in what will prove to be his first real test of the 2023 season. We're here at Hawke's End Park today and we've got a camera on board one of the UK's top 125cc racers, Reece Jones.
Let's drop the gate and get racing.
Over the course of the three motos, Reece Jones had some great battles with Kasimir
Henderson, Cole McCulloch, Jake Walker, Wal Beeney, Yaron Evans and Caden Smith, putting
on an awesome show of two-stroke action for the fans to enjoy.
Reece traded moto wins with Finnish rider Kasimir Henderson.
Jones won the first moto and finished second behind the three-time Finnish champ in the
next two.
If you didn't know his name before this race, Reece Jones certainly proved that his is a
name to remember at the 2023 Hawkstone International.
Unfortunately, the race that we are watching right now on the GoPro was stopped and red
flagged early after just one lap of action.
This was because a fellow rider Ashton Barlow suffered a nasty crash and had to receive
immediate medical attention.
Ashton is now fighting hard to recover from a spinal injury.
