Women s Most Dramati Rallies of all Time _ Highlights from the Beach Volleyball World

And that you could cut the atmosphere with a knife even on the warm-up court, but the intensity here and the start from Ludwig and Kozik, there's a joust, chance has been bumped over, great bit of work breaking the block from Kozik, back to the line and waiting for it is Salvador, full stretch not again, yeah he wants it and then she transitions, everyone, one of the best plays of the entire tournament, the reactions there from Kozik, good, bumped over quickly, typical Laura Ludwig style but she reads the body and the wrist of Solberg and the second time is where the full stretch, once with the left then with the right and the cut shot seals the deal for Germany in Hamburg. Good touch from Ross and a huge finish cross-court, massive point again for the USA, they've won the tough rallies. Hubli serves, again the target is Sarah Pavan, that shot on the attack, the cover is there from Canada, can Humana Paredes finish right down the middle, 21-20, set point number two for team Canada. Wow is she powerful, Melissa Humana Paredes, been on tour for 11 seasons, 2018 best setter and 2017 most improved player, shows you how quick she can be in the backcourt and how quick she can turn defense to offense, no block, look at her get up, great rotation, their mid-court play has been superb, comes back from the sand, Bansley shows her exactly how it's done, twice in a row, Wilkerson, Slikova can't keep it live, 18-13. If they give serve way, Artacho has served magnificently today and another good serve there and Tonelli, easy enough for Artacho Clancy, Artacho over the top, in, beautiful, beautiful stuff from the Peruvian-born Australian player. Serving strongly Kravchenko again, that's been a difference so far, chases on for Groudina, gets her arms on the ball and puts it into a really good spot, really tight to the net, Slikova stay in this one, Groudina is playing some defense back there, roll reversal, Tina Groudina with a swing for the first set, not taken, Groudina sweeping everything up back there, another opportunity, Herman over, this rally making everybody here breathless for the first set, hanging on by a whisker, side of the game is strong for the USA, might not be quite at the top at the moment, but they have multiple teams, a product of a very strong college system, off the net is Kleinman, they're just scurrying everywhere, breaking the block, but Ross is good as well in setting, second time, Lati Lukanen, opens it up, goes through, wider plays again, or will they have to really wait to develop towards Tokyo 2020, in system, left side Lilius, a wider play, because they're getting found out, they're having to change the way they play, offensive Spain, both teams, head to head, toe to toe, unbelievable, Schneider from way downtown, finds the perimeter of course, forefront of the game nowadays, beach volleyball, chance to go on to again, but Sponsor stays, really smart to go back to Kelly Clice, mix up with Anna Patricia, playing some D, points straight to Rebecca to say, that's your good, moving so quick Rebecca, huge rip from Virgil Dupree, but sitting in the pocket, Delsa, second opportunity, from the right side, guided back to the line, but the recovery work from both teams, insane here, Virgil Dupree off one foot, goes back to the line, it's a wonderfully well timed break, the execution, defensively from Spain is so good, but eventually, they're out by Switzerland, and it's Heydrich, and take the first set for the Brazilian team, Artacho has to just readjust her feet, Carol, superb hands, here she goes, Clancy, oh the power from Clancy was immense, and it's 21 apiece, excellent all-round there from both teams, on to Anna Patricia, dug from Duda, has to come over this time, as there's a touch off the block, another opportunity, no two ball this time, Anna Patricia, chop back from Rebecca, no, Duda is there, third set point, match point saved, on the fade away to the floor, Duda, keeps this game alive, Duda a full stretch, and just to get back off the net, the ball's drifting wide, but doesn't matter, potentially too far away now from Finland, who have to try and build, need to find a side out first, but Kleiman, big in the block, but the reactions are even better than the blocking on that account, no block this time, break angle, it's a double up angle play in defense, off the net spiking, if you're in a fiddle, go deep middle, the Americans have an answer for everything, it was a great read from both players, tournament history at this level on the FIVB tour, let's look over, can she make it, 13 points, Wilkerson digs high, Bansley now with the opportunity to attack, Herman over, still alive for both, still alive again, just in from Herman over, everyone held their breath, the Canadians held their breath as this was sent over, where was it going to land, such a difference it could make it.
