On Carson Macedo on row two. We are green.
Wrightsill's off the best for a start.
Down into turn one, we go. We're through one, we're through two.
We've got two cars locked up halfway down the back straight.
They sort themselves out and Wrightsill will lead lap number one.
Back in second place, it's Brock Siafos.
Third place, Paul Macedo, Carson Macedo.
The first of the Western Australians is Caden Manders in fifth place.
As you can see, right round the racetrack,
milling his further back with Madsen and also Kingshot.
Wrightsill's got three cars ahead of him.
Siafos might take the lead here at the end of the main straight
as the lap cars were three abreast and all made contact when Wrightsill got through.
And now Siafos can't get through.
Now he does and he's back out after our race leader.
Into the main straight they come and not too far behind is the Macedos.
What's happening at the front of this race with lap traffic,
but Wrightsill, after a very, very hairy moment,
is managing to hold on to this race lead.
Siafos is on the chase at the moment, though.
A bit of work for him to do around some lap traffic.
He gets around OK.
Then it's back to the lap car between him.
First and second with 22 to go.
Yep, Siafos won't give up.
Oh, the race leader Wrightsill went up on two wheels
coming out of turn number two.
And they're coming up now to lap Callum Williamson.
Into the main straight they come.
Wrightsill by three car lengths over Brock Siafos
as they go down into pub corner as they move out of turn number two.
Macedo and Manders here in fifth spot with 18 to go.
So Wrightsill leads.
He's got Chris Coyle before at the second place car,
which is still that of Brock Siafos.
Cole Macedo, then Castle Macedo.
Caden Manders is fifth.
And Mikey Green still in sixth.
A flat car for Brad Maiolo.
He'll be out of the race.
The yellow lights come on.
Yellows come on.
And we've done 18 laps.
We'll go back a lap.
We'll be back on lap number 19.
Wrightsill's away.
And I see Siafos on the hunt with him.
And then Colvus Cone successfully is passed by all cars.
Lots of moving further back.
And we get around with another lap in the book.
18 to go.
Mikey Green's gone back a couple of spots here on this restart.
As Justin Whittle got passed by all the trouble in the main straight.
It is a three-car pile-up.
We'll ask you to stay back from the fence.
The fuel cell has come right out the back of Cameron McKenzie's car.
The other cars involved include the 18 of Harding and the 77 of Brad Maiolo,
who has only just changed a tyre.
And we've got a big mess right in front of us here in the main straight.
He does.
Brock Siafos gets a good jump early.
He gets underneath momentarily.
Back into second, though, as the dust cloud hits the commentary box.
All in one hit.
But it is Aaron Wrightsill for Brock Siafos with 18 laps to go.
Yes, they've moved down the main straight.
A little bit of a gap down to the 40 of Colvus Cone.
And then there's still Caden Madders and Mikey Green, the first of the West Australians.
And then further back in the field after that, Kerry Madsen is next.
As they move down the main straight, another lap put together by Aaron Wrightsill.
That's left from the get-go.
He's about to come up on the crumpled coke can.
It's back as they move down the back straight once again.
Into the main straight we come.
It's Wrightsill still from Siafos.
Macedo, Macedo.
They're back in fifth place, Caden Madders, Kerry Madsen.
Tame Kingshot is up to seventh.
As our leaders are really going for it as they come out of turn number four.
Yellows are on.
Oh, that was close.
There was contact there.
Jason Kendrick did a 360.
And it is the second-place car, Brock Siafos, who has slowed.
And he'll come to the work, Kerry.
I'm not sure of the problem.
Mikey Green, seventh.
We're green again here in Bunbury.
Down into turn number one.
Wrightsill leads with a pair of Macedos.
Here comes Kerry Madsen.
Goes underneath it, Caden Madders.
Madders fights back on the inside as we've got a dozen laps left to go.
We certainly don't know what a dozen laps this is going to be.
This has had a bit of everything.
Sweetie, Aaron Rental moves away.
Kerry Madsen is starting to close the gap.
So too, Caden Madders and Tame Kingshot.
This time around, there'll be five to go.
Here he is.
He's well clear.
Back in second place.
It's still Cole and then Carson Macedo.
Kerry Madsen, Caden Madders, and Tame Kingshot in the top half dozen.
We've got four laps to go here in Bunbury.
And it is still that of Aaron Wrightsill out in front.
He goes through lap traffic one more time.
Slits the middle.
Back along way to Cole Macedo, Carson Macedo.
Kerry and Cole goes for the white flag.
There's a lap to go.
And here in Bunbury, it's been a very difficult night.
It's still very warm here.
He runs down the back straight the final time.
He is going to romp in.
He's three and a half seconds in front.
Come on, Bunbury, put your hands together.
Aaron Wrightsill wins here.
He wins the round here in Bunbury and wins very, very convincingly.
Second is going to go the way of Cole Macedo, Carson Macedo.
Sorry, Carson Macedo, then Cole Macedo.
There was a swap on the last lap.
And another big week at Speedway, Jason.
How about it, Bunbury Speedway?
Put your hands together for Aaron Wrightsill, your winner tonight.
Dancing on the wing, the Texan finally gets under the top step
with the Monty Motorsports number 17.
Yeah, it was.
I used to live for stuff like that when I was 20, not so much at 35.
But, yeah, we were still able to get the job done.
I kind of enjoy these tracks when they're treacherous like that
and patchy.
It just makes it so technical.
And, you know, you could see, like, lap traffic wasn't a problem
because we could move around so much and make different lines happen.
And, yeah, it was, like I said, it was treacherous.
But if you could hit your marks, you could really make a lot of speed.
And, you know, as soon as you did mess up, you lost a shitload of speed.
So I do like races like that.
But I just can't thank Looch Monty and his entire family enough
for bringing me out, bringing my whole family out.
It's been a lot, a lot of fun racing for these guys.
And I just can't thank Bart, Dean, or Bart, Neil, Robbo for everything.
Everything they do, all the hard work that they've been putting in, you know,
hasn't been the greatest start.
But we're definitely getting there.
We're getting the car better and better every time we hit the track.
So, you know, hopefully this is the turning point for us.
You've got a few nights left in you as well.
This could be that pivotal point, as you said,
the turning point to turn this speed week around.
Yeah, yeah, no, for sure.
I don't know how many more there is for the speed week.
But, yeah, like I said, we're finally getting some speed, and it feels good.
