FC 26 - Real Madrid vs Barcelona | UCL Final | Ronaldo vs Messi epic battle

It's a special day, an unforgettable day, but only for the winners. We've reached the end game, it's the Champions League final, and for it all, right here on EATV. Here we go, marked on the calendar for months, the big day's finally here. I'm Guy Mowbray alongside Stuart Robson for what promises to be an unforgettable Champions League final. It's Real Madrid and they take on Barcelona. We've got some of the world's top players out there tonight, so this has to be a great game, doesn't it? I just hope we see both sides play to their full potential. I can't wait for this. This is the Real Madrid starting lineup. Well, it's certainly a back four, but I think we'll see a lot of rotation in midfield. They just need to have a good understanding about when to support the front player and when to drop that little bit deeper. It certainly looks like a 4-5-1 to me. This is the Barcelona team sheet. Well, they're playing the same shape really, so it's all about getting control of that central area, and which of the wide players has the greatest effect on the game. Welcome to TAP Gamers. All is rolling in the Champions League final. He is hoping for drama, goals, and maybe a touch of magic. Who are his there? Modric. Finished yet? Looking attacked, but just unable to take advantage. Karim Benzema. No surprise to see who we focused on as our player to watch in this game. You would presume that he'd play a really big part. Well, he's such a creative player, both with his passing and his ability to beat defenders. Change of pace, change of direction, and a decent finish. That's a very good goal. Oh, it's Barcelona with the ball as the game restarts. Can they find a response? Alexander-Arnold onto Cristiano Ronaldo. Vinicius Jr. Pinched, read his mind there. Yeah, that's goalkeeping at its very best. So quick to react there. Here it comes. Keeper, the keeper. Kino Messi. Should have been taken. Well, that should have been the equalizer, shouldn't it? That's a poor miss. Militão. Ronaldo. Possession really is all that matters for them now. Yeah, they're certainly enjoying this. Cristiano Ronaldo. In the right position to cut out the pass. Time for the transition. Down by one and looking for inspiration from this corner. Being pressed here. Luka Modric. Onto Messi. Fafinha. Barcelona transition. Barcelona with the ball again. A bit of space now. Back to level pegging. Didn't deal with a threat, did they? It's a poor goal to concede. One-all then as we get started again. Benzema. And onto Alexander-Arnold. Karim Benzema. Real Madrid trying to get things moving. Terrific chance. Lionel Mbappe. Now Modric. Benzema. Vinicius Jr. Luka Modric. And it's on now with another goal here. Lionel Messi. And on that whistle, the first half comes to an end. We're back underway. 45 more minutes to come. Oh, could be here. Solid clearance to ease the pressure. Yeah, good decision. Just get it away. Frenkie de Jong. Fafinha. Now de Jong. Messi. Real Madrid come away with it. Well, for me, he always looked likely to win that battle. He's so confident in those situations. Over it comes. How to play. Throw in to come. Pressure. Promise of something happening is over. Karim Benzema. Oh, this might be promising. We won't mind how they come though. That makes it 2-1. And away we go again. Koundé. Lamine Yamal. Block like that. A chance for the breakaway here. Terrific save. Could be a Barcelona substitution. Delivered into the box. Kylian Mbappe. Defending just when it was looking threatening. And it's opened up. He's in the final now. Well, here it is again. He goes past his marker so easily with just a drop of the shoulder. And it's a great finish. He holds off the defender, keeps his composure, and finds the back of the net. It's a marvellous goal. The game kicks off again with the score 3-1. Dani Almo. Get tighter here. It's been delivered. We've got 20 to go in this one. Excellent reading of the game to win the ball. Vinicius Jr. On to Cristiano Ronaldo. High tempo, hypnotic football in total control. Frenkie de Jong. They've lost it. Promising break ends there. That's crossed the line. It'll be a throw. And there's going to be a change now. Well, how on earth has that happened? Thrown to the opponent. Well, that's what he'd like to have back again. Barcelona have possession again. Good cross into the middle. And the danger might not be over yet. Vinicius Jr. Cristiano Ronaldo. That's an excellent save from the keeper. You have to say that. Dani Almo. Lamine Yamal. Dani Almo. Just read the situation so well, didn't they? The counter looks on here. Options available. Surely had to be at least on target. Here comes a change. And back with Courtois. And that golden whistle will sound so sweet. They've done it. They certainly have and they deserve to do it as well. They were the better team today. They were absolutely excellent. Disappointment on one side is mirrored by wonderful scenes of celebration. All those tired legs are forgotten now. Well, just look at the joy on these players' faces. Absolutely incredible. Really good spirit and a great performance. Players gather their thoughts. The handshakes begin and they go up to receive their prizes. Well, it's now just beginning to sink in. They are the winners of this great cup. There'll be so many emotions running through the heads of all of these players. And now the big moment. The trophy lift itself. And now the celebrations can begin. Not just the players, but also the fans, the coaching staff, everybody involved with this club. What a performance it's been. I really don't think they want this moment to end. This is why they play the game. And it's great to celebrate with the fans. They've made so much noise here. They've got right behind their team. Yeah, it's a lovely touch for them to take the trophy over to their loyal band of supporters. Cameras are raised. Everybody's getting a piece of this. I'm tempted to throw a few shapes myself up here. This is wonderful to be a part of. Well, these are lovely pictures, aren't they? Feeling this must be. Well, these photos will be cherished for many years to come. Not just by the players, but by their grandchildren and their families.
