How does it feel to be a United player?
It feels huge. It's a big club and I'm very excited to be here and I can't wait to get started.
You've had an incredible career so far already. For our fans that maybe haven't been able to follow your career to this point,
would you be able to take us through step by step from starting out in Sweden to being here now in Manchester?
I started playing professionally in Sweden when I was around 16 or 17.
Then I wanted to play abroad and to play in Germany at that time.
That league was one of the biggest and I was very excited to go there.
In the end it was four and a half years in Germany in two different clubs.
After that I went to Barcelona and played there for four years.
Now I wanted to come to England to play in probably the best league in the world.
Manchester United has been a club that I've been following.
Now I'm here and I'm super happy.
You had four years at Barcelona as you've just said. You left earlier this summer.
When did you first learn of United's interest and what's that process been since then of getting the transfer completed?
We've been in contact throughout the summer.
When Manchester United came I was like, OK, this is very interesting.
It's a big club. It's a batch you want to play for.
Also now in the last season when United did very good performance and reaching Champions League
and being one of the best teams in the league.
It's something I want to be a part of.
I feel like I can bring my skills to this team and help the team.
I feel like this is a perfect match.
We're excited to see that. You won 13 titles in four years at Barcelona.
An incredible achievement. You played at top clubs in Germany before that.
You know what it takes to win. You know where to win.
I think it's quite exciting now that United is your next club.
For you, why was it United?
I think it's a club that fits the way I want to play.
It's also, as I said before, a big club that I want to invest in and do even more.
I want to win titles.
It's definitely a place where I feel like I want to be here because we have the same ambition.
That's why I chose to go here.
You speak about your conversations with the staff there.
Mark Skinner, the head coach. What have your conversations been with him?
Where does he see you fitting in?
Because we know when you went to Barcelona, you were a winger maybe.
You played, maybe it's fair to say, most of your football at Barcelona as a left-back.
But we've seen even as recently as the Euros that you played as a winger as well.
Where does Mark see you fitting in here?
We had discussions about it. I'm someone who likes to play offensively.
We had discussions about that.
It could fit me to be higher up in a higher position as a winger.
I feel like here you use the wingers a lot, like crosses and coming around on the side.
It feels like it's a position that fits me and I think I can help the team with my skills.
Using my speed, my one-against-one and my crosses.
Help the team in doing those things.
Wingers have a great history here at Manchester United.
Not only on the women's side, but the men's side as well.
We also have a great history of Swedish players as well.
You're not the only Swedish player to have signed already this summer.
We've signed Giulia Zijoti, we've got Anna Sandberg here already.
How excited are you to link up with those players?
It feels great that there's already two Swedish players here.
Two amazing girls and footballers.
I can't wait to see them and play in the same team as them.
I'm happy for that.
Your paths have crossed already in your career with numerous players in this squad.
Not only the Swedish players, I think you played with Dom Jansson at Wolfsburg as well.
Who else do you know from the squad? Is there anyone else?
Leah Galton at Bayern maybe?
Dominique and I played in Wolfsburg for two years.
Leah Galton and I were in a short time at Bayern Munich.
I know a few girls in the team, which feels really good to get to know this group
and already know a few of the girls.
Off the pitch as well, what would you say you're like?
We've heard about your qualities on the pitch and where you see yourself fitting in.
How would you describe yourself off the pitch?
I would say I'm a pretty calm person.
I'm someone who's active. I like to do things.
I like to be someone who's bringing joy to the team, talking to everyone.
I'm someone who's caring as a person.
Those things I hope I can share with my teammates.
You're an experienced player now. How would you describe your playing style?
I would say I'm someone who's very ambitious.
I'm always working hard and I always want to get better.
I want my teammates to get better and have this will to give everything for your team.
I think that's something very important.
It's something I want to see in training and in games.
I'm really someone who would give everything for my team.
You speak about your experience in Germany, Spain, a new country in England.
I know you spoke about the WSL before.
How excited are you to test yourself in that environment, in that league?
The one that you called maybe the best in the world.
I'm very excited to be here in England.
It's, as I said, one of the best leagues.
To get those competitive games every week is something that every player wants to have.
Now I will get it.
Also playing for a team like Manchester United and always striving to get better.
Anger to win more.
I'm very excited for the league to start and to continue growing as a team.
Of course, we've got the Champions League as well.
I look forward to this season.
You've got some great memories in the Champions League.
Obviously, you've won it twice.
You scored a winning goal in a final.
I think the United fans will be quite pleased to hear that you scored a hat-trick against Liverpool as well.
Previously, there was a bit of rivalry there between United and Liverpool.
But winning the competition must be your favourite memory.
Yeah, for sure.
It's a big thing to win the Champions League.
When you've won it once, then you want to win it more times.
That's something that I want to continue working hard for to get there with this team.
It's definitely something you want to reach every year if possible.
It's quite unique because we start our campaign in your home country of Sweden in the Champions League in Stockholm.
How cool will it be to potentially make your debut for the club in Sweden?
It would be very cool.
When I saw it, I was a bit surprised.
Like, okay, that will be a trip to Sweden right away.
It's special going there and playing against teams in Sweden.
I'm super excited to start the Champions League journey.
I feel like we're going to be successful there and we're going to give it our all.
Hopefully, we can reach the group stage.
That's the first step.
We're going to do everything to get there.
Just finally, we'll have a fair few fans going over to Sweden to support us.
Do you have a message for them as you join the club?
I'm super happy to be here.
I can't wait to see you in the stadiums.
I'm looking forward to having the support that I and the rest of the team will give our all for the club and for the fans.
Hopefully, we can celebrate many things together in the next couple of months.
That's a lot.
Pretty dope.
Welcome to the United family.
Thank you so much.
All good?
Thanks very much.
Thank you so much.
That was really good.
