Wisteria Tea Room

We're here in Fort Myers checking out the Wisteria Tea Room and Cafe, where they serve English tea with a Southern flair. I can't wait to try out some of these goodies. We are here with the owner, Bobbi Schwartz. Now you have an amazing selection of treats here for us. Can you tell us about the unique experience that we get to see when we come here? Well, we do soups and salads and sandwiches. We make everything here. Our baked goods, our salad dressings, everything. And then we specialize in what we call high tea. It's savories and finger sandwiches on the bottom tier, scones and Devonshire cream in the center, and our sweet desserts on the top. Tell us a little bit about the dishes that we have here in front of us. Okay, well we have our artichoke spinach sharp white cheddar tart with our Wisteria house salad, homemade champagne vinaigrette dressing. We have a cob salad. We have a duo salad, which is a scoop of our homemade chicken salad and our homemade egg salad. And then we specialize in a Reuben. And that comes with a, um, either a cold broccoli salad or a Mediterranean chickpea salad. And then of course you have to have dessert. So we have a banana extravagance. It's homemade banana bread grilled on the panini with, uh, ice cream, homemade caramel sauce, candy pecans. We have a chocolate peanut butter cheesecake, and then we have a chocolate creme brulee. You must have events here and birthday parties. Tell us about that. Well, we can do parties up to 16 during regular business hours. But if it's beyond that, then we do private parties in the afternoon between four and six o'clock. It's a two hour seating and we serve either afternoon or a royalty. So tell us about your gift shop. Well, we carry English bone China. We carry different kinds of gift Chinas. We carry a small gift items, uh, something for everyone. How does everybody get more information?
