If it feels like no matter how hard you work, life is just getting more expensive. Well,
you're not imagining this. Everything is so expensive right now. From our homes to our cars,
to simple electronics, even childcare is so expensive. Living in the United States right now
is difficult. And for many people, some say it's not worth it.
It's just straight up too expensive to live in the United States of America.
And it is. More and more people are leaving the United States, leaving expensive states like
California, New York, trying to go somewhere less expensive, somewhere cheaper, where their money
can go a little bit further. But here's the crazy thing. Even food is so unaffordable.
Americans are being priced out of food. Think about that for a second. A basic necessity like
food, you can't afford it. How insane is this? Look at this right here. One pound of ground beef
is now more than the federal minimum wage, guys. How crazy is this? And how far are they going to
let these grocery prices get before they realize that regular people can just not afford this crap?
Right now, let's do a comparison. Let's use a couple of big chains where I live. I'm on the
West Coast. So we've got Albertsons, we've got Vons, we've got Stater Brothers, which I think
is kind of like a West Coast thing. All of those are about twice the price of an Aldi, a Walmart,
a Winco, a Safeco, or a Hebb. And they are. Some of these stores are outright expensive.
But here's the thing. The federal minimum wage is $7.25 an hour. Yeah, it still is. But for a pound
of ground beef, of lean or extra lean ground beef, on the U.S. average for U.S. cities, it's about
$8.25 a pound. $8.25. So it's a dollar more per pound of ground beef than it is for your federal
minimum wage. How insane is that? That right there shows that the American people are being priced
out of everything, including food. They are literally pricing us out of our cities. It's
bizarre how four years ago, you could buy a house for $100,000 where I live in Connecticut. You can
buy a house for $100,000, maybe $150,000, and it'd be a decent house with like two or three bedrooms.
$150,000. That was four years ago. I know because we were going to buy a house four years ago for
$127,000 or something like that for a two bedroom. Now we have the modern times. Four years later,
after COVID, after the whole, you know, everything, 2020, 2021, 2022, we have houses,
the same house that we were going to buy for $120,000, $130,000 is now $300,000.
And that's for the same home. But what's even more troubling than that is that first off the
home is more expensive as far as the sale price, but then you got to factor in the rates are much
higher. So that becomes unaffordable. And on top of that, now you got homeowner's insurance. Well,
homeowner's insurance has gone up quite a bit. I'd be shocked if this person's homeowner's
insurance, if he compared it, wasn't at least 50% higher. I'd be shocked if it wasn't at least that,
okay? Because that's what we've been seeing. I know people that they have their homeowner's
insurance just in the past three to four years has doubled or tripled. That's homeowner's insurance.
And then you still got to factor in property taxes. Well, property taxes have gone up because
the home's value has gone up. And as the home's value goes up, the cities and the counties want
to get their piece of that pie as well. So you are going to be paying every single person.
You really are paying every single person on this. That's what's crazy. But it's not just homes.
It's not just food. It's not just the United States in general. Look at this because this
person is comparing it to gaming. Look at this. And again, I'm here to tell you that right now,
millions of people are also being priced out of gaming as well. And with just one decision,
millions of people will now be locked out of gaming as a hobby. If you didn't hear, Micron,
one of the three major competitors when it comes to RAM said that they are no longer going to sell
their RAM for commercial use, and they're going to only do it for the AI data center.
What that means is that not only does PC gaming become significantly expensive,
so does console gaming, PlayStation, Xbox, Nintendo, the Steam machine. All of those are
going to become extremely expensive to buy. And they will. As we see more and more AI start
coming out, everyone's using it. Everyone's using it. As we see more of it happen, and if
these companies are going to cater towards AI and building that for the growth in the future,
well, all these people are using these chips and stuff for gaming. They're going to be priced out.
Remember what happened when Bitcoin ran up, when Bitcoin was in the 30,000, 40,000,
it started to shoot up. Remember what happened then, and this was all during the pandemic as
well, that people were using these, you know, the different chips and the boards and everything
to mine. It shot the price up to build a computer. It was expensive, very expensive,
depending on the different motherboard and everything that you got, the power supply,
because people were using that to mine Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies.
That was exactly what's going to happen here. So if you think these consoles and computers are
expensive now, just wait another five years. Just see how expensive they are at that point,
because I guarantee you millions of people are not going to be gaming. They're going to be turning
to something else that's more affordable. Now, here's a big one. One of the discussions we've
been having, and not here on this channel, but as a nation and as a whole, is we are seeing a
problem with, well, their population. We're not growing like we used to, but why? Well,
some say it's because people just don't want to have children or everyone's leaving the United
States. But yet we saw a huge influx of people coming into the United States. Well, here's the
problem. If we ever want to have kids, it's expensive, very expensive. I have three kids.
I can tell you right now, and they're all, you know, age fairly decently apart. But anyway,
here's what I can tell you. If I didn't work from home or have my own business and all that,
I don't think we would have three kids. Be very blunt with you. I don't think we would have,
because it's expensive. Look at this right here. Let's talk daycare prices. My husband and I are
putting our kids in daycare three days a week starting next week. Guess how much it's going to
be? For my four-year-old, $275.40 a week. That is with a 10% discount. My three-year-old, $306
a week. My one-year-old, $315 a week for a grand total of $896.40 per week.
That's $800 a week. That's not a month. That's a week. We're listening to the rest of this.
But think about that for a second. That's three days a week. Okay. And that's it for three kids.
Okay. Over $800 a week. Let me ask you this. How many of you make more than $800 a week?
If you don't make more than $800 a week, wouldn't it make more sense that you stay home and you
watch the kids? That's what a lot of people do. That's why there's so many households here in the
United States that are single income households, because they cannot afford daycare. Let's keep
watching this. For three days a week. So if you average four weeks in a month, that would be
$3,585.60 per month. $3,000 a month. Think about that. $3,200 a month is what this couple's paying.
I don't know what they do. I didn't look into that, but here's what I can tell you.
The American people are being priced out of having children. They're being priced out of
daycare. They're being priced out of something that was so common just 20 years ago. Daycare
centers. I know there's a lot of stuff on the news about the whole scandal and the whole scam
and fraud about daycare centers. I'm not getting to that. But this, it doesn't look like that's
the case. Every single person that I've talked to recently complains about daycare, where daycare
is actually more than what some of these families are making, or some of these individuals are
making. And some say, well, I could just stay home and watch my kids. But at the same time,
I need some type of life outside of the home. That's why I'm working. Because in the end,
you're actually paying more to go and work and pay the child care than they would if they just
stayed home. But some want a life outside of their home. Listen to this one, though. Because again,
a lot of people are doing this. They're saying, well, I want to leave here. I want to get out.
I want to do things. I want to go camping. I want to go on vacation. I want to go to Hawaii. And
I want to go see Disney. And let's just leave here. Let's take the kids and let's go. Well,
for some, they're priced out of vacations. I remember talking to somebody just recently.
They couldn't take their family on vacation like they always do during the holidays. They said
it's too expensive. That every single year our family goes to I think was Breckenridge. I could
be wrong. But I think they go to Breckenridge. And I think in Colorado, and they go and go skiing
and have fun. And they do that for the holidays. And they said, too expensive. I just can't afford
it. It's way too expensive. Look at this, though, because here's another family being priced out of
a Disney vacation right now. How are you all affording these Disney vacations and these
cruises? I have five kids, so seven people, seven people, five kids. You want to go to Disney?
I can tell you right now. I didn't go to Disney World. I went to Disneyland this summer.
And here's one of the things I can tell you. I didn't realize it was that expensive.
I hear people talk about all the time and thinking it can't be that expensive.
Well, it's five people. And we each got it. We went to Disneyland for three days.
We each got the lightning pass, the park hopper. We had all that stuff. Okay. And I think total,
and not even factoring in what my wife spent on her card, but just factoring what I spent
personally. So flight, car rental, hotel, Disney trip, the paying for parking at the airport,
gas, food. And again, this is just what I spent. I spent over $8,000. Okay. It's three days,
three days at Disney. Okay. We got there on day one, we went straight to the park.
We stayed right across the street. Okay. We stayed right across the street, went right to the park
on day one, day two at the park, day three at the park, day four, we left in the morning. That was
it. Okay. So a four day vacation, okay. Over $8,000 of what I spent. My wife probably spent
another $1,000 to $2,000. Okay. So a family of five, $10,000 for four days. That's expensive.
Would I do it again? Maybe not this year, but maybe at some point probably would.
Here's the thing. The American people are being priced out of everything. So if you think that,
oh, my finances aren't what they used to be, there's a reason. And it's probably not even
something that you're considering. You're probably thinking, oh, well,
we probably eating out too much. You've been priced out of eating out. I can tell you that
right now. You've been priced out of going to restaurants. You've been priced out of even
eating at McDonald's. McDonald's for a family of five. Tell you this right now, for a family of
five, we are spending at least $40, most likely closer to $60. Okay. Anywhere between 40 and $60.
We go to Chipotle. If we want to each have our own meal, that's at least going to be a $70,
$70, $80 meal meal. But if we want to get the family plan or a family package,
things like 60, 65 bucks, well, that is what we spent. We want to go and get some pizza. Well,
that's probably the cheapest thing we can do. Even if we go and get two pizzas at a Little
Caesars, which they used to have the $5 hot and readies. Well, they're not $5 anymore. I went just
the other day, got one pizza, a hot and ready pizza. And I got a, uh, order of the crazy bread.
That was $15 for one pizza, one order of crazy bread, 15 bucks for a family of five. We'd
probably need two of those. So $30 for Little Caesars. It's not even great pizza, but it is
something to eat. So that's what I'm telling you right now here in the United States, everybody
is being priced out of everything. And you probably don't realize it because they're picking you apart
in every single way. So let me know what are your thoughts on this? And do you feel like you're
being priced out of everything that you're currently doing, eating and seeing? If so,
