The museum has been closed for about 14 years The museum was closed due to temporary circumstances and crises the country has gone through For the benefit of the antiquities and those working in it the safety of this piece and this historical and cultural heritage which concerns all Libyans The museum was closed for a long time We have prepared during this period to reopen it in a way I came to the museum with my mother and the son of the prophet We know our history so that we can shape the future The leader said that we are a country without history and without civilization As I meant these people don't know that our country has had them for thousands of years The Libyan history like that of other countries has been censored The United States has faced many difficulties in obtaining these historical materials We are proud to have presented this piece to our youth and we see what its importance is
