This is the new 2026 Hoyt AX3 29 and we're on the edge today We're going to do three
Year fifty years shoot and we are going all the way to a hundred years and see exactly how
This building is It's such a nice day out the wind is blowing a bit but this is the building
e one I have set up and I am going to shoot it at multiple distances to see the consistency
It was going to be a 29-inch asylum to asylum build but it blistered
It is quick and it is so beautiful especially the 28 to 29 inch drawing that we have seen what it is
The type of speed that makes a build Why did I shoot the AX3 29 It has an ATA rating of 340
meters per second It is a nice small compact 29 and a half inch to inch asylum to asylum
He relaxes a lot in drawing and in the remote control so much relaxation
but today it's not a building review about the building itself it is
To perform an accurate test on this build and how easy or not easy it is to shoot this build
And how relaxing it is The target face I'm shooting is a standard world archive face
The 10-ring is 8 centimeters about the size of a tennis ball 3 inches in size
Just a few tweaks down there the setup is perfectly tuned it was really easy to do this
Tune the car The XDS tuning system works really well let's take a few shots
Look at the grouping and we will keep the wind in mind This structure is really
Good all three of the brackets in the middle are well seated The structure is good
Balanced and I want to show you that with those stabilizers and everything on them
While I hold this here on the grip it is for me a beautiful balance point
As you place a small stick or a serving on the axle itself and you have built it so balanced
at the axle is pulled through the side shell itself giving you an extremely beautiful
I mean a neutral balance in the construction without it being too heavy
But if you're not an archer who shoots a lot this bow won't feel heavy
Even if you shoot a lot you can always add a little more weight to get that balance
You won't get tired because the build doesn't feel that heavy
The last shot was very weak on my stance the wind was hard blocked and I was
placed in the middle and I wanted to shoot I didn't have enoug
rear reinforcement on the last shot but the structure seems to prohibit it and we are blocked
But 30 years but that's in my feeling four arrows that's as hard as you getting four
It is clearly not the best but all the arrows are above the x
As I have to I can just make a small adjustment to get everything into the x which is fun for me
Is that I have a nice line this is a nice round grouping so in 30 years this building will look good
To truly be forbidden and truly precious I will change in 50 years
Shoot a few arrows see what kind of connection I'll get there
and the ultimate challenge and question is what will this do in the long run on 100
We are standing 50 yards we do a group test 30 yards seems quite easy 50 yards
Almost double the distance this is going to be a bit more difficult with these lovely conditions
And so my last arrow on 30 was not a well-executed shot when I saw the rush
Looking at the front I can see the wind coming from right to left so I'm going to change that a bit
I'm setting my image to 50 it's a difficult day to do that precious test in this
Warm conditions but also a great way to see how the structure reacts in such conditions
It was a good shot the group is a bit on the low side I just shoot groups
I want to look at that precious item but the group is a bit on the low side
It's always easy for someone to say that it's easy to make certain mistakes
But in such circumstances it's not really that easy it's not the best grouping
But under the circumstances I'm quite happy this 50-year-old group it's a b
On the leeward side but with the wind coming from right to left I am quite pleased with all this
Despite the bottom and I could if this were a target build and I had to make some changes
I'm playing around with the weight a bit to make the group a bit more rounded
But yes I'm glad I'm going to take another round I'm going to see the change in me
I'll fix it or I just need to change a bit more on my level to change it further towards
The right one but this after 50 years I'm quite happy with this with this group for a first
For a first round but let's take another shot and then we'll stretch this all the way to 100
And this isn't bad this is a three-inch circle and that group was smaller than that
Second round at 50 made the changes made a good shot
A misfired shot 50 years very bad so this was a very poorly executed shot
but this is a group that I am really really surprised by these are five arrows
A little on the lower side yes but with the wind blowing and after a change
I think this isn't a bad group in 50 years even if I just have to make a small change
Change my site a little bit lower that will definitely change it but this is abou
The size of the eye so even with a target bow it's difficult to get groups like this
This is normal I would say standard handling a nice grouping I would like to release it
Up to 100 I will see what the best grouping is I will build this and from what I see
What happens in 50 I will do a calculation and say that's not bad
I'm 100 years old the first thing I need to check is to make sure I'm still alive
I get control of my wings under that casing in the front go
A few arrows pointing down over 100 years the target area we hit there is that 10 ring
Five feet twelve centimeters and the wind isn't making it easy was a well-executed shot
Clearly from this distance you really have to be on top of your executed move and that arrow there
It is in the yellow net about a foot or so to the right of the 10 ring
but maybe it's a bit too much there but I'll try to
Keep everything in yellow the wind is very bad it has a kind of shift from right to left
Most of the time it goes from left to right but it makes it hard to control
Oh it's so hard with this wind the executed move wasn't at its best and if you see that movement of tha
Wind can be seen but it was not a bad result for that poorly executed everywhere it looks quite good
The plane is really beautiful even on a windy day like today that one arrow
Just not enough where I wanted to go but let's look at the last arrow at the end of a hundred
One hundred years of wind has kept me busy and honestly it's really frustrating
But this is the last one hopefully I can still eat one yellow one that's a good shot
To reach our hundred-year target feeling as I have already explained this is about five
My feet if you look at my hand this is actually my hand on the same target feeling
I have cut six arrows clearly with the wind and I am not perfect at it
You know my executed one from all my shields this came away from me but the wind was
Links to the right right to the right comes from the back at some point I really didn't know wha
I have to do what I have to practice or what I have to compensate for I wouldn't say I'm unhappy with this
It would be fun to test this when there is no wind with a short sho
The introduction is this is the first time I have really done such a test with a short introduction
This size you know under thirty inches almost the same 29.5 almost the same f
The length of my turn thirty inches I was really happy to have my shots in such a group
Even at 50 although not fully in the center but the groups as you remember were real
Beautiful and steep that was really hard but you know I couldn't be any more noticeable with a small one
The trigger pull feels not like a trigger pull if it is a short trigger pull
I think they really have the scam design nice how they make you feel like you're getting a longer training shot
e shot is really nice and balanced the AX3 29 inch mounting shot really a shot where
If you're looking or even if you're a thirty-inch rotating nozzle let me know in the comments
