Hey guys and in this video you get to see how I plant a garden and what I harvest from it. This video was filmed last gardening season but right now is a great activity for you to do during COVID-19 when you're stuck at home and there's nowhere to go. Happy gardening! As you can see we're planting a garden here in this old sandbox. We took all the sand out and added some dirt. Now we're going to plant some of these seeds. So we have some lettuce, spinach and more lettuce and some onions, some summer squash, some parsley, dill and more parsley and some yellow tomatoes and sunflower and last but not least the sweet pea. Oh this is the one that's last but not least the cucumbers. So this is what the garden looks like when I haven't planted anything yet. This is what the garden looks like after two weeks. We've been waiting a very very long time. How much longer do we have to wait? Let's see. This is squash, corn, salad, spinach, this is dill and last but not least the cucumbers. Oh no there's a bunny in my yard. I think he might go in the backyard and eat our vegetables. Oh no but he's cute. So it's been over a month since we planted this garden. So we still have to wait before we pick the cucumber, the squash and the tomatoes. But my salad and spinach are ready to harvest right now. I'm gonna make myself a salad. So I have my scissors here and my bowl but before you use these scissors make sure you are supervised by an adult so you don't get hurt. So it's fine because my mom said it's okay and she's right here filming me. Hey mom! Then time to cut. Oh I also like some dill on my salad too. I usually like the top of the dill. Well I'll just leave the bottom on for now. We have to wash it anyways. These beauties. Time to put them in the salad bowl. Fresh salad from the garden. Ready to eat. Bon appetit. It's great. This is our garden after three months. Look at our corn. I think we're going to be able to harvest it in the beginning of fall. Look at our cucumbers. Right now they're ready to harvest. They have a really funny shape. That's because they're getting old. We should pick them before they get too old. Here are the baby cucumbers. Let's pick this guy. Delicious cucumbers.
