Inside Brooke Shields' Holiday-Decorated Home ｜ Celebrity Homes ｜ Architectural Digest)

Hello, Art Digest, and happy holidays. Welcome to my home. I'm going to take you around, and I'm going to show you the decorations that we have this year, and tell you about some of the traditions we like to share. So here we are in our living room, and this is the room that we traditionally open our presents in the morning of Christmas together. And this year, I was lucky enough to be able to work with Balsam Hill in the decorating of my house. I had a discussion with them about a mixture of a sort of a French country feel with some pops of color. I think it's important to plan ahead, but to always leave room for something spontaneous to happen and for an expected surprise to add to the party. This is where we're going to be opening our presents, or at least my kids will be opening their presents on Christmas morning. In this room, I wanted to have a lot of candles, and I wanted the feeling of the tree to be a bit more monochromatic. We all got to work on this tree, which was fun. And my favorite part of it is the star, because my girls made the star. Thank you, AD, for coming into my home, and happy, happy holidays from my family to yours.
