2024 Jet Ski US Freestyle Championship - Spring Round - Lake Havasu City, AZ - recap

Just like every year on Mother's Day weekend, Bridgewater Channel under the London Bridge in Lake Havasu City, Arizona saw some gravity-defying action. Spring Round of 2024 US Freestyle Championship is competition that separates freestyle from high-speed racing, is organized by Freestyle Personal Watercraft Association, and since it is sanctioned by IJSBA, it counts as a qualifier for the World Finals. All competitors have to perform two minutes routine and are judged on five different aspects. Variety, difficulty, execution, flow, and number of tricks. In freestyle beginner class, second finished Garrison Graham from Salem, Oregon competing on Envy by Waterdog Customs powered by Waterdog Customs. Win took Nate Riddle from Lake Havasu City, Arizona on Deza powered Richter by Rick Roy Products. First in Freestyle 800 finished Maiko Devaro from Rancho Cucamonga, California on Yamaha Superjet. Second in Freestyle 900 finished Garrison Graham from Salem, Oregon on his Envy by Waterdog Customs powered by Waterdog Customs. Winner in Freestyle 900 was crowned Henry Lee from Portland, Oregon on his Pro Series Revolver by Leadstone Products powered by Deza Racing. In Freestyle 1200, third finish on his 900cc engine double dip in Henry Lee from Portland, Oregon on Pro Series Revolver by Leadstone Products powered by Deza Racing. Second finish international rider Cornel Babilec from Poland competing on Helium by Team Extreme powered by TPE. And the winner was crowned Jason Wright from Covina, California on Richter by Rick Roy Products powered by Deza Racing. Every Freestyle Personal Watercraft Association event includes crowd's favorite Best Trick competition. Jet Rig Best Trick Beginner Freestyle won Nathan Riddle. Jet Rim Best Trick Freestyle 800 won Michael DeMauro. Jet Rim Best Trick Freestyle 900 won Henry Lee. And Jet Rim Best Trick Freestyle 1200 won Jason Wright.
