Well hello everyone, welcome back to my channel and welcome to today's video. Since we are in the
new year I thought what a perfect opportunity to go thrifting. Now I don't know about what you guys
do but as soon as the new year rolls around I am decluttering. I am purging my entire house
and I actually got rid of about like four to five bags just in my kid's room alone. So I still have
a whole apartment to go through but with that being said I'm sure other people are decluttering
and getting rid of their items and well what better way than to get rid of things than go
buy some more things. No but really people are getting rid of a lot of things and I thought
you know what let's go see what people are getting rid of and then we will come home and do a quick
little haul. I am starting off this thrifting really strong. I have came across the most beautiful
baskets here at the thrift store so if you're ever in need this is a great place to get it.
Now my thrift store has a lot of brand new target items that are almost 50% off so even with 50%
off you are getting a great deal if you like that target look. I will say this brown vase right here
was stunning. I wish it was bigger in size because I would have definitely picked it up and of course
without a doubt there is always lots of organizational pieces for your kitchen,
living room, no matter what it may be. I always find such great pieces and speaking of great
pieces you guys when you find a set of two of something make sure you grab it both because
this right here is really really rare to find. Now the thrift store doesn't always have stems
but when it does it has some good ones. These hydrangeas looked really beautiful as well as
these stems right here. I believe these are also from target but obviously really heavily discounted
so I hope this encourages you guys to go to the thrift store this new year because people are
decluttering, people are getting rid of things. I mean just speaking for myself I got rid of like
five bags out of my home and I donated it all so lots of people are donating lots of goodies here
and I came across this ginormous hurricane candle holder. I mean only for a couple bucks. I mean
such a great find. This little blue scalloped pot really screamed spring. I thought it was so
darling. I love the color on this. Again you can use it as a pot, you can use it as a crock to hold
your utensils in the kitchen. The options are limitless. Now if you're a DIY girly this right
here would be stunning if you gave it a fresh coat of paint. Again it is so rare to see a group of
things so when you find something whether it's bowls or candles or canisters always get them as
a set. I mean if you leave it behind it won't be available. Same with these little Ikea vases. These
are really cute. Again what a lucky day to find two of these at the store. Now this wreath right
here was only $4.99. I had to I had to control myself not to get it because lord knows I don't
need any more wreaths but what a beautiful beautiful piece. As well as this little fig tree. I think
this is a fig tree. Back when I first started decorating this was probably one of the first
faux plants that I've ever bought so it really brings back those early days those early memories
where we all decorated boho because this definitely screams boho. Look at this three dollars for a
whole bunch of easels. This would be great in your kitchen to display cookbooks or even art
in your living room. I mean what a great find. I'm telling you people are purging their homes
and they're getting rid of some really nice things. Nine times out of ten you can find brand
new shades at the thrift store so before going to any big box stores always hop into your thrift
store to see if you have any. They're only a couple of dollars. This lilac scalloped planter also
was so adorable and red tags were 50% off today but again such a cute little addition to add to
your home for spring. Again it doesn't have to be like Easter bunnies or eggs or anything crazy
like that. Just adding soft colors into your home really does make it festive for the season. Now I
came across this little I want to call it a hurricane candle holder. I don't know what this
is but I thought for seven bucks this was a really good deal also really really beautiful.
I also love to look for candles at the thrift store. This one right here is brand new from
Hobby Lobby. Never been used and I mean come on smells amazing so I always love to get candles
at the thrift store and speaking of candles I did go ahead and add this right into my cart.
This pumpkin dish looks looked like it was handmade. I absolutely loved the color of this.
I mean always shopping for seasonal decor but I thought this was so so beautiful.
And only for a couple of dollars you can use this basket as a base for your olive tree or even a
trash can in your bathroom. So definitely think outside the box when you are shopping because you
can use these items for in multiple different rooms for multiple different reasons. Now I was
on my way out and I came across this stunning pillow you guys. Four dollars it was round it
had tassels had the most beautiful light blue color on it. I don't know something about light
blue I am so drawn for the spring. I thought this pillow was adorable. I also came across this vase
$12.99 is a little bit expensive but I will say it was great quality. But now that we are done
shopping let's head on home and do a quick little haul. All right as I mentioned I have been
decluttering and cleaning my home so I want to be very very intentional with the items that I
actually do bring into my home. So I did come home with one item and it is this beautiful candle. Now
I use candles all the time no matter what season it is. Summer, winter, fall, spring I always have a
lit candle. Now I am decorating more with moodier colors even for the spring and summer time. I just
find that these chocolatey browns and they just they're just so cozy. I love a dark and moody
vibe. So I came across this beautiful ribbed pillar candle and I thought you know what this
is perfect for my home. I actually have an idea of using it in this thrifted hurricane holder. Now I
thrifted this last year this was $4.99 and I actually did share something similar today at
the thrift store. It was a lot larger in size but I just figured if we pair these two items together
set it on my coffee table I don't know in my bedroom literally anywhere this would look so
beautiful. So yeah only for a couple of dollars you can achieve a high-end look. I think I don't know
where this is from it doesn't say it says the floral society. I'm not sure where that's from but
I know that Hobby Lobby was selling something really really similar during the fall season. So
$3.99 for a brand new candle I consider that a win. But this is going to wrap up today's video.
Thank you for coming shopping with me for staying till the end. I appreciate you guys so much
and I hope I will see you in the next one. Bye!
