Top Points of Day 5 _ #WTTDoha 2026

Careful about that forehand flick of Shidong. The precision. Surgical. Oh, he plays the drop shot. That is so good. He's done it again, Jang Woojin. He did it against Rose Moragard in the quarterfinal. He's done it again against Shidong who is so, so good. You're kidding me. Off the top edge. It's on the table. She plays a drop shot and not a good one. Chen Xingtong. Rallies of the event. Maybe even the best rally we've seen all week here in Doha. What can you say, man? To infinity and beyond and it came down with some snow on it. Day. Who's more with it? Who's feeling themselves more? Oh, the recovery from Kuai. That was special. It was so special. The net recovery and then she managed to fish it back. But in the end, it was a weight too heavy to bear. Tongtong maneuvered her out there and then to the other corner. Long serve. Fishing from Shidong. Perfect fishing. How the heck did he manage to still make it to play the forehand? That was perfect defensive play from Lin Shidong given where he was. The footwork. Maybe play a long serve and attack. She pushes it. She needs to increase the pace. Tongtong somehow. She can't increase the pace but Zhu Yuling can. Mesmerizing table tennis to bring up two game points for Zhu Yuling. Look at Chen Xingtong with the sass, the hand on the hip. Serves. He's winning. Oh, what a reach. Sent into the shots. Wow. Both players getting stretched to the other side of the table. Both players knowing to keep alive and keep the ball on. Incredibly hard then for Zhu Yuling to step into the ball like that. A stunning point. That's amazing from both players. 22 shots they traded there and they went back and forth. There was times where Han Ying got in first. She's been in the driving seat the whole way. And what has been remarkable about Chen Xingtong as well is how she's finished games. She's been so aggressive in that final point. The stance. The way he wants to touch a lot of the time rather than flick. As you can see there with that mind-boggling forehand off the bounce. He has a killer forehand. Unity presents itself using that deadly forehand. Look how wide the chop block. I'm speechless. It is just mind-numbing. Slap shot. Backhand bomber as deep as can be and then there. Merciless. Unbelievable from Zhu Yuling. The matrix movement. That is just mind-boggling. I can't believe how good this point was. The switch.
