Have you guys heard this Apple iOS news?
We are going to be jumping from iOS 18 to iOS 26.
WWDC is coming up next week,
which means the first beta versions
will be rolling out so soon to developers.
Here's what the rumors are saying
that we're gonna be getting.
First up, it looks like this new interface
is gonna be taking some inspiration from the Vision Pro
with translucent glass interface elements,
rounded edges with floating navigation and menus.
If you've ever used Apple Vision Pro
or seen what the interfaces look like,
I think this is gonna be pretty cool
because it has such a fun, futuristic look to it.
There's gonna be an all new games app
that'll have editorial content, leaderboards,
achievements, and some social features.
This kind of seems like it's gonna be replacing
the Game Center app and kind of integrating it all
with Apple Arcade.
So everything will be nicely all in one place.
We may be getting some enhanced RCS messages,
an all new update to the health app
with food logging and AI coaching.
I already do a lot of food tracking,
so it'll be really cool to kind of see
how this compares to some of the apps
that are already out there.
Now, this is probably my favorite.
Live language translation with AirPods
with an upgraded translate app.
I had the absolute best time in Japan,
so if this is actually something that is coming out,
you better believe that I will be booking a trip to Japan
specifically to test this out for no other reason.
For science.
Oh, I love Japan.
It's amazing.
Now, there has been some Apple Intelligence
Siri AI upgrades that have been severely delayed,
and they may actually be released in this version.
So fingers crossed.
Like the ability to respond to requests
about personal context, onscreen awareness,
and interacting with other apps.
Now, I would much rather these be set and ready to go
than released and not work,
because we just don't need any more disappointment.
Now, speaking of AI,
we should be getting some more third-party AI integration
into Siri like Chat GPT was last year.
So it'll be nice to have some more options to choose from.
This is also kind of interesting,
a stage manager feature when using your iPhone
with an external monitor,
which I can't say that I really ever do very often,
but okay, maybe I need to get into it.
This is also pretty cool.
Transferring eSIMs between an Android and iPhone
will now be super easy.
This is definitely going to be great
for those two phone kind of days.
Of course, there's going to be a ton
more smaller features as well,
but follow along as I take you to WWDC next week
to learn all about the new new.
