a *busy* day in my life ☕️

Hello and happy new year. Welcome to the first vlog of 2026. Let's spend the day together. Hello you guys. We're just gonna get right into it today. It is Sunday. We're going to spend the whole day together. I'm currently on the road. I'm about to go to a new incoming coffee shop called Le Moon. They are opening I believe sometime within the month but they just have a soft opening slash influencer event today. I'm not from Arizona so I'm not super familiar with all the locations. The current spot that Le Moon cafe or is it Le Moon? Is it Le Moon cafe or is it just Le Moon? I'm not sure. The current spot that Le Moon is at right now was once a Arabic grocery store and they have just completely demolished it and started, well not demolished the whole building, they've just kind of tore out the entire inside and it just looks incredible from what I've seen on their Instagram. So we're about to go and check it out. We just got here. Let me show you. It's literally right next to the masjid. The masjid. Le Moon. I just left Le Moon cafe like five ten minutes ago. I'm almost home and I got a matcha to go. I also tried the Spanish latte and I have a tiramisu latte here with me to take home and sip on and give to Aramid also to try. The matcha is actually really delicious. I got the fig, something fig, matcha and I really really like it. I don't know if it's fig that I can taste or something else but the matcha taste isn't super potent. Once I mixed it it's not too bad but it tastes really really yummy. Now I'm going to head home to see Zane a little bit and then I have a target order I'm going to pick up and then I'm going to start prepping for dinner. We are going to do... Zane was hungry but was feeding him. So we're gonna do, I'm gonna do a taste test. The fig matcha, it's really yummy and the tiramisu latte and Aramid might also give us his reaction off camera because he does not want to be filmed right now. Should I try it first or do you want to try it first? You can try it first. Okay yeah. Oh it tastes like tiramisu meaning chances are he won't really like it. Yeah I'm not really a tiramisu guy. But it tastes good. Taste it. It tastes like espresso with chocolate milk. Bismillah. Bismillah. It's not a knock on name when I just don't like tiramisu. It does taste just like tiramisu so if you like tiramisu... Do you want to try the matcha? I don't like matcha either. Okay do you want to just taste test it at all? Sure. Okay. Okay we'll have to go back and try the other things on our menu for Aramid. But then I got a... The one I really wanted to try that Aramid was telling me was a tahini latte. Yeah. That would have taken me back to Spain because we had hot tahini latte which I don't even like hot coffee and it was good so I'm excited to try that one. This is a zaatar and labneh bagel. So labneh instead of cream cheese. It actually looks good. You can get it with cream cheese instead but the bagel has zaatar on it so... I figured labneh would be a good choice. That actually looks pretty good. That's delicious. That's really good. He enjoyed that. Definitely my fault for picking a tiramisu but... Yeah it's like they don't even know me. No well I asked them... I asked them because I didn't tell them I wanted to take you a drink. I was like I already had the Spanish latte what's another like yummy drink that you would recommend and that's what they recommended so... What's in the Spanish latte? Honestly I have no idea but I actually think you would like it because it has condensed milk. That's all I know that it has and it's like pretty sweet so I think you would like that. Then the last thing that I got is a pistachio chocolate croissant. Look at that. Look at that. Tell me that doesn't look delicious. Tell me. That looks pretty good. I'm gonna try this even though I don't want something sweet right now because I want to finish the half of the bagel but we're gonna do it for the taste test. I like that it doesn't look like there's nothing in the croissant because you know like most croissant places it's like all bread and then you have like the one little bit of chocolate or something in there. Hi mama. Did you miss me? I missed you so much. Wow this is delicious babe. I had two bites and you know I don't usually eat sweets like that. Wow that's really good. Probably one of the best croissants I've ever had. Damn that's good. They gave us little goodie bags so let's open them up. The first thing in here I see is a nominal jewelry item. So just a simple chain. Then they gave us an olive branch tote. That is so cute. I would totally wear this. I mean I wouldn't wear it wear it. A nominal 40 ounce tumbler and I got labneh on the bottom. Oh this is so cute. Stop it right now. That's really nice. Thank you so much Lemon and Nominal. This was a pleasant surprise. I will now finish eating my labneh zaatar bagel. Then I'm going to do my target pickup. I just switched outfits for the day and as you can see this mess here is what I'm about to work on. My closet is an absolute disaster. I'm not going to show you because it's actually embarrassing. I have a really big problem with putting things away immediately. Like if I'm getting dressed, I try on a couple different hijabs before deciding on the one. I won't like put the other couple that I tried on away. I'll just like throw them on the side and then I have like one big cleanup and I actually hate that because if I just put things away as I go my closet would never be a mess but it always ends up being a mess. I think it's just because I have a lot of space. I just take advantage and I just I hate it. I honestly hate that about me so much. I'm pretty messy but I'm good at cleaning. My husband is OCD so it's a good thing I have my own closet because he would lose his mind if he had to see my mess and we shared the same closet. Jump scare. I decided to take off my makeup and just have a really chill rest of the day. Zane has been giving me a little bit of trouble. He gives me a little bit of push back like he's extremely tired but he just doesn't want to nap so he sits there and like cries a little bit and it just like it hurts my heart because I'm like okay well you don't want a bottle, you're way too tired to be playing, he's deliriously like tripping over things, um doesn't want to cuddle so like I'll put him down in his crib and he'll cry and then he starts tossing and turning and knocks out but I hope it gets better. Maybe he's just teething or something, I have no idea. Now I'm going to unpackage a couple of things that I got with you guys and then later today we're going to be having a steak dinner. Once I'm like at home he's going to grill. Just gonna keep it really simple, have like a caesar salad, maybe some corn. We're gonna keep it simple because cooking on weekends is illegal. Just in case you weren't aware, now you know. I have quite a few things over here that I wanted to share. The first thing is these neutral colored microfiber towel rolls which I thought was super interesting because first of all microfiber towels are always in the most like highlighter neon vibrant colors and they're so ugly. I like to wipe my counters down with a microfiber towel but the ones that we have we get them from Costco in a very large pack and they're really good so don't get me wrong they're like really amazing but I just hate the color like if I'm leaving it out by my sink or something it's just really ugly. These are kind of like a paper towel roll but microfiber towels tell me that's not crazy and then it like rips over here. If you just want to leave like a towel out to dry around the sink area in like a guest bathroom or your bathroom because like those vibrant colors really ruin the aesthetic if you have a pretty bathroom these are amazing. So I got a couple different kitchen items I guess. The next thing I got were three strainers. It's a set. I really liked that there were three different sizes and they all matched. Keeping up with the kitchen items I got these really cute wooden tongs. This is not functioning properly. You might return these. I don't know if the quality is just not good or if I have a faulty one. It locks like when you pull this out it locks and when you pull it in it opens up so you can mix as you please but did you see that? It just started locking. Every time I push it down it locks. You can see the other one if the other one is working. It came in a pack of two so works just fine. Sometimes I need to reevaluate and have some sort of self-control because I genuinely have like zero self-control and I bought another coffee table book. I don't know why. I definitely don't need another coffee table book but I do feel like I could style it. I don't really like this coffee table book. It's not very pretty. The Art of Simple Living is what it's called and I have a couple others around but I do like that it has this like dark burgundy on the cover and I have a lot of burgundy going on in my formal living area. Oh my god and then I got Zane this camera. So he is obsessed with the vlog camera. This one he's obsessed with the polaroid. He's obsessed with like my phone camera so I thought I would get him his own camera. I mean obviously he's too young for a camera to be using it fully right now but I think it would be super cute to see him like you know take more interest in certain things and so I got him this cute little fake makeshift polaroid that does print out a little picture for you so I thought that would be really cute for him to use and get excited about. I think I'm more excited about it than he he will be for a very long time. Stop it right now. I'm so excited about this. Dog. Oh my god I love this so much. Tell me that's not incredible. That that's honestly the best thing ever. Oh there's one more thing. I wanted to get him a really big bear and it's like vacuum sealed into this. Oh my god it's gonna open up so freaking cute. I already know. Oh my god he's so cute. Zana's gonna love him. So I got him this guy and on his birthday he's a little flat. Hopefully it'll like fluff up a little bit more and take more shape but I'm gonna put like a party hat on him and I'll tie like a balloon and it'll be hanging and he'll be up here with a bunch of his other stuffies but I thought he was really cute. All right well since Zana's napping I'm pretty much just gonna sit down and chill out for a bit and then probably get started on dinner. Have some outside time before grilling the steaks. The weather is perfect. I'm out here with my purse of joy.
