Welcome to Sao Paulo, which has been host to Formula 1 races since 1973.
So sit back and relax for what is sure to be a fantastic Brazilian Grand Prix.
We're racing today then at Interlagos, a historic 2.7 mile circuit
and one of the few anti-clockwise tracks on the calendar.
15 corners in total, nine to the left and six to the right,
with a technical middle section opening up to a flat out sector three.
That gives us our best passing opportunity down into turn one.
So with the race not far away from starting,
here's what today's grid rundown looks like.
World champion Max Verstappen starts from pole position
and starting next to them is George Russell.
Moving on to the rest of the grid, we have
Piastri, Antonelli, Esteban Ocon and Fernando Alonso.
Leclerc, Hamilton, Hadjer and Pierre Gasly.
Hülkenberg, Norris, Olly Behrmann and Sainz.
Lawson, Tsunoda, Gabriel Bortoletto and Lance Stroll.
Colapinto and Alex Albon picks up the last spot on the grid.
And now it's time to head down to the track.
And alongside me today, a man small in stature, but big on comments,
Anthony Davidson. Hello.
Interlagos, always one of my favourite weekends of the season.
Love Brazil, adore this track.
Absolutely spot on, Crofty.
I wish you could pick this circuit up and place it, copy-pasted
on multiple different locations around the planet,
because it is sensational to watch, sensational to drive.
And for all these drivers here in Brazil,
it's a great time to get stuck into this Interlagos circuit.
It's an anti-clockwise track.
Lots of important corners to get right.
And it's a track where you can make or lose an awful lot of lap time.
OK, radio check, radio check, radio check.
Conditions look stable at the moment.
No rain currently expected.
Mind that front wing, it's going to need replacing if it takes too much damage.
OK, DRS is now available.
Look out for a bit of understeer when trailing the car ahead.
They're going to be giving off dirty air, which is going to affect our tyres.
So try to get past.
Great manoeuvre, you made it look so easy.
Good job, that was the fastest lap of the race so far.
We've got a lot of spare energy.
OK, to use your overtake button.
OK, so gap to the car ahead, 3.2 seconds.
OK, no issues with tyre wear for now.
Keep taking care of them.
OK, we're approaching the pit window.
You're going to be on soft.
Good job, nice overtake.
Box, box, we're coming in this lap.
OK, so we're leading our team mate by 19.8 seconds.
OK, pit in this lap and remember the speed limit.
We'll be penalised if we exceed it.
Keep that in mind as you approach.
OK, mate, that's it, go, go, go.
Perfect job on the turn in there, mate.
Looks like a nice stop time.
We're happy with that one.
OK, stay clear of the white line on the exit.
We'll receive a penalty for dangerous driving
if you cross onto the track.
Carlos is in for his stop now.
No need to worry about the tyre condition for now.
Everything's looking good.
You're pulling out a second a lap on the car behind, really good stuff.
OK, you're catching the car ahead,
but remember, we need to get to the end of the race on these tyres.
You're increasing the gap on the car behind by five tenths a lap.
Green flag.
Here's some information on Russell for you.
OK, they're out of this race.
Let's use overtake and burn off some of this energy.
OK, you've just started the final lap of the race.
Final lap.
What a day this has been for Alex Albon.
It's victory and what a victory.
They had to be decisive with their overtaking today
as they worked their way through the field.
And those kind of race victories are so enjoyable
because it's not just like winning from the front.
They really had to work for it today.
It's what they've all been racing towards, waiting for them.
High above the pit lane is our podium.
And for the lucky three, it's time to stand on it.
And taking the very top spot.
Congratulations, Alex Albon.
