We've done one Wendy's, which I personally regretted immediately.
A drawing someone did of me, which is crazy.
We did 40 hours in four days once.
So Billy can tell you more, but he started making this thousand song playlist.
Hey, what's going on? This is Hunter Metz.
We're out here on a Crater Wide.
My first Headline Tour right after the EP came out.
Come take a look inside the van and what it's like to be on the road.
So when we're on the road, I'm typically in the passenger seat,
and we'll do shifts.
Billy does a lot of the driving right here.
John does some of the driving, the tour manager.
Levi's got to drive too.
Jake's the only one yet to drive, right?
But last tour, I mean, we all switch off.
We all switch off, and then whoever's driving, they're connected to here.
They're doing the DJ thing.
Yeah, and no other rules besides that, right?
Just good music.
I drive the most. I'm also bad at following GPS,
so I need a good co-pilot to tell me when to turn and stuff like that,
because I'm bad at it.
So on a tour back in May, we were on the road.
We did 40 hours in four days once.
So Billy can tell you more, but he started making this thousand song playlist.
So that's in the heavy rotation.
But tell them what's on. It's just classic.
Yeah, it's just classic songs.
I feel like it's country, funk, folk music.
Honestly, we've been listening to a lot of the band recently.
We've been listening to a lot of Little Feet, Neil Young.
Nick Drake.
Nick Drake. We listen to a lot of Nick Drake.
We've been listening to Fox Warrens, both of the Fox Warren albums we listen to.
Sometimes we'll do trivia too.
Yeah, we do trivia.
We'll pull up trivia on Quizlet.
We'll rip trivia. We did that a bunch last tour.
So yeah, I'm usually right here.
I'm either watching a horror movie.
I'm big into horror movies. Let's see, I've done.
There's one called Dangerous Animals I watched.
And then Bring Her Back. That was a good one. Bring Her Back was a good one.
But no, up here we got a first headline show poster.
So it's just a poster with my face on it.
So maybe that's vain, but I'm going to keep it.
So it's just my face on a poster.
But I'll keep it for the memories. I don't know.
Just little things, little memories here and there.
Stuff that fans make is special, and I don't want to just toss it.
I think it deserves a spot somewhere.
So just little things like that.
This was a drawing someone did of me, which is crazy.
But yeah, I don't know. It means something to me.
They took the time to do it, so I think it's worth honoring that at least.
All right, so we got Billy right there. There's Billy.
And he switches between banjo and pedal steel on this run,
but also great singer, great guitar player.
And then Jake is to the left of Billy.
Jake's playing bass on this run, but same thing.
Incredible artist, guitar player, singer, all the things.
Then we got Levi back there, and he's on percussion and drums, that kind of thing.
But same, they're just one of a kind. I'm lucky to have them.
It's the five of us, and then we have the opener, Emma Anderson.
She's riding along with us too, which has been really fun.
But usually Emma will take the back left corner,
and then Levi or John in that seat right there.
And then honestly, y'all are usually like you are now.
And then we just rotate based on who's driving.
I'm usually scrolling on Depop, finding some new vintage finds.
That's usually what I'm doing.
But I also have my journal, so I like to just write some thoughts down and pass the time.
I like to talk. I'm pretty high energy, so I like to keep the vibes high.
If I have a guitar, maybe I'll play guitar.
I've written a few songs in the band,
but mostly it's just talking and playing annoying music and being loud.
Honestly, I sleep a lot in the band.
I'm always passing out, but I also always have my book.
I always read and I brought my journal too.
Just various things and talking.
I love to just talk and hang out in the band.
I always feel like the best conversations.
I feel like we all get to know each other so well
just by being in the band and chatting for hours.
Either that or sleeping.
I feel like everybody gets their own snack.
I feel like we've stuck to water pretty religiously.
We try and do somewhat healthy stops.
We've done one Wendy's, which I personally regretted immediately.
But just trying to stay on top of it.
It can get out of hand so easily where it's sour straws and Skittle.
I don't know.
But just trying to find a balance between snacking and doing something healthy.
Something healthy.
I think too, keeping the van clean.
As clean as possible.
It helps you mentally.
It doesn't feel like you're in a zoo or something.
Yeah, trapped.
There's not much in the back right now.
It's all in the venue.
Let's see, we have some drawings.
That's me.
I love music.
Levi, Billy.
But yeah, everything.
So post-show, everything comes out of the venue and it just gets stacked.
And then stacked.
Levi's been pretty good at it.
We all take turns.
It's like whoever is the first one to the van.
You put the stuff in and you get in the van and you're the one taking everything in.
Usually one person stays at the van.
So no fishiness happens.
But yeah, I think that's what's really unique about these guys.
I think a huge part of it is everyone has to be willing to jump in.
Or else it can just become so monotonous.
And kind of like you're overloaded really quickly.
Because it is a lot.
We are the ones taking it in.
We're plugging it in.
We're doing everything.
Hey, how are you?
I think it's all about that balance.
Thanks for watching, y'all.
Again, my name is Hunter Metz.
This is a look into our van.
Looking forward.
Find me on social media, of course.
Spotify, all the things.
And I hope the music finds you.
