Bock_Lippmann vs. Gonzalez_Navas - Beach World Championships 2025 _ Highlights _ Pool Phase

Hello and welcome to the Volleyball World presentation. The Beach Volleyball World Championships from Adelaide. 2025 edition. We are in South Australia. Off the top of the tape and down. Sneak that one through and she will start serving for Germany. Navas off the top of the tape. And Luisa just handles it right over the top on to Puerto Rico getting their way around the big block of Luisa Lippmann. And they just have to shovel this one over. Wow. A good bump over it is but Bach handles it. Navas with the dig. Gonzalez gets swatted back. They keep it alive and she goes lefty down the line. Nicely done. What a great extra third and fourth efforts from Puerto Rico, but form very well in the match that preceded this one. They kept their seats and they get another German pairing. Nice overhand dig there. Navas can't put it away just yet. Bach with a wide open net and she finds the deep part of the court. Early. Bach with another chance to pick up and a short knuckle picked up by Navas. Oh, the over on one. Of course, expect that out of Germany. The sideline is Bach. Tough swing. There's some heat to hear. A little extra oomph put into that one. Germany obliging with a few too many unforced errors. Around to the right a little cut shot for the winner. Short into Gonzalez and that one's going to sail wide. Trend Gonzalez again. She goes out wide. Leipman with a good touch. Recycle there at Bach. A little knuckle pokey away for the winner. Starting to get working with the German Federation. Coaching them up. Heavy heat. That one dug over. Leipman sent packing as well. That one off the top of the tape and down. Heavy heat deep. Again going in short to Gonzalez. Pick up Bach. Leipman chases that down and a little knuckle away for the winner. A good bit of scramble from both sides. A serve for Germany. So they continue to extend. That one sent over. Yeah on two with a little frustration behind that one perhaps. Heat but Navas scoops it over the net. Leipman now with a chance. Navas in some good spots, but that deep in particular. Bach with a chance to close it out. Again, Navas in the right spot. Just onslaught of offensive power from Germany. A little too much. They close out the first set. Navas with a nice timeless slide over the line. Oh, Kong block. Luisa Leipman. Long arm of the law. Nice heat in Puerto Rico that time. Knuckle pokey over the top for Luisa. Frustrating as a player at times when the decision is slow coming from the officials. There's a nice swing. Gonzalez hard into the cross court. Tough serve. Just had to be slapped over. Now Leipman. Oh swatted. Try to knuckle pokey it over. Let the ball drop a little bit. The arm drop. She just kind of landed in the body. Got into the net, which is not legal. That's a nice serve. Good take from Navas. She whaps it up the middle. So that whole play happened, right? Cover. Yeah, there it is on one again and it works. That was a nice crisp cut shot there. Navas on the right side. Was in that quadrant. Back to Gonzalez on the left. This one goes way out wide and Luisa makes a nice move. Kind of jumping angle. Almost leaving the arms back towards the line. Watch this block move. Germany recapture the advantage. Bach with a chance after the good tough serve. Easy to Navas. Leipman swatting again. Bach goes over on one. Oh, what a retrieval. Leipman's gonna have a swing at it. She goes soft to Navas and now at wide. Oh, what? And there's finally some heat. Didn't. All Gonzalez could do was kind of go to her knees. Short one in here to Navas. Not touched. It was a strange looking play. I think it was an overset. Quite a steady. You might have expected offensively, but more than competent. Gonzalez here. There again. Leipman swatting. Touching this one as well. Overhand dig. Gonzalez. And that one able to get over the top of Leipman and down. Oh, super spike. There again is that patented Luisa Leipman move into the hucking though. Have to be pretty big to pull it off with any efficacy. Gonzalez continues to rack up the blocks. This little wrap over the top to the sideline there. The top of the tape and down again. Gonzalez serving. Heavy heat. Navas controls. Tries to tee off on it at Leipman.
