THIS CRAZY DOWNHILL BIKE HAS MASSIVE CAR WHEELS - HOW WILL IT RIDE?

This bike has the biggest tyres I've ever seen. We're about to shred this strange looking downhill bike as hard as possible. Hello everyone, today is going to be epic because I'm with Tom Eystead here. We're at Silver Star Bike Park. What have we got? We've randomly wandering around the village yesterday. We bumped into this absolute creation of fun. Look at the size of this thing. It's a mini downhill bike with car tyres. Full on car tyres, they're studded. Super sketchy, look at this. That is so wide. It stands up on its own. It's a downhill bike. Look how wide the axle is there. It's actually crazy. We're going to see what fun stuff we can do, can't we? Hopefully we can cruise some of the little zones around here then see what other activities we can get up to on it. Well, let's just try riding it first. You go first. Okay. I'll get the other cam and film you struggling around. Go on then, first test. All right, let's see what this thing's all about. Oh, oh my God. That's incredible. Oh, you've got to lean it like a quad. Oh yes. Oh my God. You can't pedal in turn because the pedals hit the floor. That's the first issue we're going to find. It's got opposite brakes as well, hasn't it? Yeah. Look at it. That's ridiculous. You've got to have a go on that thing. Yeah, give me a go. Wow, I've noticed already that it's so good at trials. You can just track stand without doing anything. Oh no, the chain just instantly come off. The last challenge bike did that as well. Oh, this is the best. Look at this stance when I ride towards you. This is the best. Oh my God, we've got to get a wheelie going. First wheelie. Oh my God, yeah, it's going to happen. Oh, the chain come off. Do you know what we're going to have to do? A manual. Look how bent the back end is as well. I think that's why the chain keeps coming off. The back's got even more bent, look. How's it so bent? Oh my God, that is nuts. Yes, I'll take it. It feels so good. But it's scary with the forearm brakes that are on the wrong side over here. And it's so heavy. Now we've come over to the pump track. It has been set up for racing this weekend here at Crankworx, but I'm sure they won't mind us pottering around on this thing. And I'm sure the challenge will be whoever can get the furthest around the pump track wins, because this thing's going to be hard work to get to move around it. You're first. Let's give it a go. Ready? Yeah, get it. Oh my God, it looks amazing. Oh, yo, it works so good. Ah, I'm too high. Oh my God, that is a machine. Look at the stance. It's got a mind of its own. It doesn't go where you want it to. All right, you have a go, mate. That's ridiculous. Yeah, it looks like the best thing on earth. Here we go. Dropping. Oh my God, it's building up speed. Oh, oh, it's the best. Quite scary in the back. Oh my God, it literally goes where it wants. Oh no, it's got a mind of its own here. You won the challenge. That really just goes wherever, doesn't it? Yeah. We've got to try and clear a jump though. That first one, I reckon. That one would be the easier one. Let's give that a go then. All right, mate. Hopefully this thing doesn't snap. Let's clear this gap. Yes, straight over. Eistedd's heading up for a huge jump. Silverstar Bike Park supplying the excitement. Ready? Yeah, we're ready. Dropping. Oh no, my chain. That's terrifying. Oh my God, what a clip. That was, if you'd have jumped further, you'd have, oh my God, that was great. Legit died. And the chain fell off straight away as well, which doesn't help. A new challenge then? Yeah, I think so. We've just come across the little skills park here. There's three tables in a row that if we can get a run-up enough, we should be able to clear. First go coming up right now. Get a good run-up. Try and make it onto here. Oh yeah, first one. Yes. Oh, the tubes. Well, that's pretty crazy to jump. It's your go, mate. You've got to run up the top and jump on. Small issue with that. What? Can't run, I broke my foot. Where? I had a slightly small crash in Whistler at Joyride and yeah, can't run anymore. Okay, well that crash was scary and now I understand why you can't run. What do you want to do now? I can try and do some skinnies of some kind or we can go find a nice stair set of doom that I know about. Oh, that then. Doomage. Let's go. Oh, I can see something that looks like it's gonna be fun. Oh, double doomage. Double doom. Surely that's gonna be good on the stairs because it's so like supported and nice. Can't wait to see, mate. Can't wait to watch it. Oh, am I first? Yeah, yeah, yeah, basically that's what I was getting at. You can go first. Actually, no, you can because you didn't hit the jumps and I'm gonna run next to you with the GoPro. No peddling, you're gonna have to sort of. Well, you could, I could push, I'll push you but not hard and then run down next to you. Here we go. Yeah. You almost went over the bars. Couple times. I've been bashed into myself quite aggressively. That was well good. Your go then. All right. Dropping double doomage on this absolute beast. Oh, that was smooth though. Oh. Oh my. It's actually good if you just let it go. The huge tires are perfect for it. That is sick. Should we see what else we can find then? Think so. Has to be done. Just decided to come to the top of a hill to bomb this beast. It's gonna be terrifying. Let's get it. Here we go. Ready for a shreddy. Let's get some speed up. Come on bike. Get going. Send edge. Let's have it then. Right. Oh my God, it's so deaf. Oh. Oh my God. It's so hard to turn though. Oh, I've got to get right over. Hope no one's coming. Yeah. Full speed. That is insane. Oh God. Yeah. Oh, that's so much grip actually. All right, Jake Atkinson. You've joined in. Apparently. He reckons he can manual it. They're American brakes by the way. Oh great. That's fun. Only you can find such a contraption. What on earth is this? Go on, you've got it. Pull hard. You've got to go so good. Pull for a flat flip. You lean, don't lean back as far. Oh man. The lean is so dangerous. Weak man. Come on. I've just run so far. So we've just finished off an epic session this thing. How was it? Actually right good laugh to be honest. Quite funny. Slightly unexpected enjoyment out of it. So it's quite a good laugh. A few little issues with the bike, but I'm so pumped we got to have a session on that, but we're not done. We're going to go up the mountain now on our downhill bikes and shred some of the trails here. Yeah, looking forward to it. Let's get it. We've now switched to the downhill bikes. We've picked up a bit of a squad. We're going to do laps. It's going to be the best day ever. Yeah, it could be known as the dream. A bit more leisurely right now sitting on this chairlift. Such a dream. If you look behind us, the view is quite an amazing one. Yeah, that is lovely, isn't it? To the top. We've made it to the top. We've got the crew. Toby Miley's involved. Drake's here. Some lads over there. Let's get it. Here we go. Up for what we came for. This is Pike Dream. There's loads of sick trails here. Big old drop. Oh my God, it is so dusty at the back here. Bad decision. Oh, it's like a moto track. What on earth? Boost it. Come on wind. Get rid of all this dust for me. Wow. Whoa, huge holes in the berms. Woo. Bit of a drop. Come on wind, do your thing. Yes. Well, that was fun. Yo. Whoa. That was insane. Dusty. Following Eyestead. Wow. That was sick actually. Following the kids through Dust City. Oh my God. It's so crazy just going into turns with no idea what your front wheel's on. Yeah, any danger? Oh, oh, re-ride. Oh, you could double that thing. I didn't realize that was a quad. Skinny. More wood. Love it. We're doing a bit of dags doing hell. Do you like dags? Oh my God. Horrible idea. This is puncture city. Oh no. That was a skinny. Oh my God. Oh, Dust City. Yo. What the hell? My mouth is so dry. Yes. All right, we're back up again. Bigger squad. It's going to be dreams. Uh-oh. He's going the wrong way. Oh no. Oh, for goodness sake. Wow. Well, that's unbelievable. No way. Landing on your back here is- Oh. Oh my God, I was out of control. That was gnarly. Oh my God. Had to dab. Did not know where we were going then. Oh. Oh no. Oh, I can't see at all. That's craziness. My lungs are full of dust. That was crazy. That was actually ridiculous. Yo, yo, yo. You're in the front then, I see. Yeah, jealous. That was a cool track though. That was the funnest stuff to ride. Freeride. There we go. We just made it back after an epic session. The big car-tied bike was so fun. So thanks to Silverstar Bike Park for letting us give that a session.
