We found a great deal for a kayak in Amazon for just 153.00 CAD. We bought it right away as we really like to buy one but don't want to spend a lot of money for it. This is our first try to purchase a kayak and definitely worth it.

Hey everybody, how you doing? It's Ariel Lawrence. We are just out for the day. We're having some fun.
So today we decided to come out to a little area called Pine Coons, which is in Alberta, Canada.
So we're just out. We've got a lot of smoke today, so we're just going to take it easy.
But we bought a kayak, a two-person kayak that we're just going to blow up.
I don't know if we're going to go out because of all the smoke, but I think we're just going to blow it up and have some fun.
Just take a look at it, make sure everything works. So this is exciting for us.
We've always wanted to go on lakes and get out and have some fun. So yeah, this should be a good day.
We're just going to relax, take it easy. But yeah, we're going to set this up and give it a shot.
So here we go. It's big.
That's the seat? Yeah, we've got to blow them up too.
That's pretty big, eh? Yeah.
I think it's at 10.5 feet, almost 11. Almost 11. What's the brand of the kayak?
We got it from Amazon.
We did? We got it off Amazon?
These are awesome. These are an inflatable
life vest emergency. So one is, you can tear these apart
and manually pull them up if you have to.
But this is a ripcord, which is a jerk, and there's a CO2 cartridge in here
that blows it in an emergency if you fall out of your kayak
or if you're drowning. But besides that, there is a manual one, so I could swim over
to Ariel and rip this side open and just manually blow it up
if we needed to. But this is a small lake, so we're going to be saving this one,
but we're still going to wear these. So this will keep her safe.
We're safe, but these were really good. These were like
$240 each. So they will last a long
long, long time.
So just take this off,
take your coat off, your vest off, put your coat on,
zip it up. Your life vest is always the last thing that
goes on, just because it's a safety. I can't believe that. That was pretty cool.
That pumped up pretty good. Try it again.
Pretty good. It actually fits you good.
It's loose, it gives you room. It's not tight, right?
Because you need some breathing room, especially when it inflates.
Oh yeah? But yours is so tight.
No, mine isn't.
How's the back feel? Sturdy enough?
You're good, just like that.
Look at that.
What if there's a wave? Are we okay then?
Say hi.
Where are we, honey?
Fine Coulee on the lake. Woohoo!
No, it's not.
Even the water is actually pretty good.
But it's so nice to be able to go to these lakes and get out.
It's so fun. So really, honestly, it probably takes
about a good 20 minutes to set it up and get everything all together.
But it's so cool. It fits in the van.
No leaks. Everything seems to be working really well.
I like that. Where do you want to go?
Okay, you want me to turn this off?
Okay.
Okay, go.
I do it by hand pump. We have an electric plus the hand.
But this thing works incredible.
When we have zero leaks, zero problems with anything, everything works perfect on it.
So we just went probably about a 4 kilometer trip down the Pine Coulee
down to the dock from one area to the other.
And now we just crossed the lake in about probably 15 minutes.
So it's just so cool. So this thing is just like sweet then.
And it just glides in the water. So it's so much fun.
I can see us now hitting lakes and everything. It's going to be so cool.
So yeah, so this one is on sale for $1.53.
And I think it's regular $1.99. But this is just the K2 Explorer.
And I know there's other ones, but this one works perfect.
So no problems with it whatsoever.
Like, subscribe, just give it a thumbs up. And it's just awesome.
So thanks everybody. And yeah, keep watching.
Keep showing you some things and just have some fun.
We've got a smoky day here.
We're in Columbia right now. They've got forest fires.
So we're getting some of the remnants of the smoke coming our way, which is like
I don't know how many miles, probably about 300 miles.
It's a good 12 hour drive, right?
So we're just going to go along the shoreline now and go all the way back.
Probably take us about an hour or so, but we're just going to relax there a little while on this side of the lake
and just explore. So it's cool. Yep, here we go.
Good job, honey.
Okay, here we are.
We're at the south side of the Pine Coulee, it's called.
Near Stavely, Alberta. But it's like a huge reservoir.
The lake is actually massive. It's huge.
How you doing babies? You're cold?
Yeah, it's weird, eh? For a day that was supposed to be plus 30,
it's like probably, what, plus 5, 6?
Maybe 8? The water was warm though.
So this is a neat little area though.
We're like, only one truck left and they're out kayaking.
So we're all alone right now, but this is the south side, which is really nice.
And we're just about to eat dinner, or lunch, or brunch.
We've got ribs.
Ooh, yummy. And this is shrimp.
Just heating it up. And that's our potatoes.
It's going to be good. But there's a central area.
We actually kayaked probably about, what do you think, 4 kilometers?
Altogether? More? Yeah, it took a while.
We were out there for 2 hours, so it was kind of nice.
But we kayaked to the central area of Pine Cooleys where there's a dock and a boat launch.
So it was kind of neat going down there and just seeing that.
And then we went across the lake to the other side.
And there's probably another 4 kilometers or 5 kilometers long going the opposite direction to the bridge.
And that would be the north entrance to the Pine Cooleys.
Yeah, that's where we went before.
So we're here, and our boat is still drying.
So that's the only thing with the kayaking, because it's a blow-up,
you've got to wait for it to dry completely before you can deflate it and then put it away.
Because if not, you will get mold.
So we're just chilling and having a bite to eat first, and then we'll pack it up.
And this is our food. Potatoes and cucumber salad.
Okay, that's it.
