RELAXING WATERING SOUNDS... I often say ""DO NOT WATER"" Succulents when temperatures are above 30°C|86°F. But in this scenario, one can water succulents when they need it.
#succulent #garden #echeveria
The 25th of January 2026 and today's temperature. So today's Sunday and the forecast is 37 degrees
cloudy. Tomorrow is 33, 37, 42 and of course when it's cloudy what do one do? There's clouds above
and of course the temperature is hot and a few minutes ago I started watering. So anyway I often
said that as a rule of thumb I don't normally water my succulents when it's hot or temperature
is above 30 degrees because they can burn. But in this situation the sun is out but
covered by the clouds. So I have to take advantage of this condition to water my
succulents which I haven't watered for a few days and it has been really really dry.
So a lot of them though they look good I would like to take advantage of the condition to hasten
their growth. Warm weather means growth for a lot of these succulents especially the Echeveria
genus. So these are Echeveria and all Echeveria and especially the thin leaf ones like this.
They love it when it's warm and they have enough moisture. I just saw the
beautiful variegation on that center there. So now it's time for me to saturate them and also
this cools the whole area down as well. So that would help a lot of the succulents that are dormant
that doesn't like the heat. Like say my beautiful Cotyledon here would love that and it's been
growing lately as well because I think I've been watering it even though the weather was sort of
above 20 degrees celsius because the growing time is when the temperature goes down to about 24
and below. But it can be maintained that the surrounding temperature is cool they will start
to grow or continue to grow. Of course the ones that was affected by the heat
has burned and this will also give it time or actually hasten it up for them to grow.
Also my PVN that I took cuttings a couple of days ago. I haven't planted them yet.
They're just left here to dry up and you can see that's all really really dried up.
I'm not going to water them but if they do get hit by water that also encourages them
to grow. I'm just droning everything because tomorrow it's going to be 33. It's not as hot
as today but it's also going to be overcast so which is a good time to water these babies and
help them along. Okay this is funny as anything. I'm out here watering and I've got an umbrella on
because it started precipitating so I had a couple of drops and then anyway I'm gonna put
the umbrella away because it stopped again so and I'm gonna continue. I'll put you there for now.
I'm gonna continue with my watering. I am watering my calamansi tree. Hang on.
This is funny. Every time I water the rain seems to come. Well it's already 4% of rain anyway
and so I think I'm just helping it along. I hope hopefully it just works as well
because everything in my garden is dry. I haven't even watered the front yard. The trees are dying
so it would really be good if we can have rain. And all the beauties here. Even the 7-12 bottle.
Hello Pastel. You are looking so beautiful. I've been meaning to do this pot. This pot used to look
beautiful or should I say this whole area here the way it was. Well this is what it looks like now
and this is what it used to look before and while enjoying the trip down the memory lane
I'm continuing my watering here so that my babies here can take advantage of the water
and the heat together equals super growth. I think we might do some rearranging here later on
when the weather or the temperature goes down because this is just too hot for me.
It's nice when I'm watering because the water sort of splashes onto me and it's nice and
cooling. I am so 80s and 90s with my music selection. This cotyledon is
flowering at the moment. Look how beautiful those blooms are. Gorgeous. Anyway it deserves to have water.
I want to move this one on the other side. Oh what's that? Oh holy night. The stars
are not brightly shining so I'll put you here. There you go. This one here.
And there. Okay and look at this gorgeous agave. This is praying hands. I think I need to put this
in a bigger pot as well. Okay we swap. I can't help it. I'm just rearranging things here now.
There you go. Now I've got more room to put some stuff there but for the meantime we continue our
watering. Oh the lithops. They're actually growing at the moment. That one the bergeri. Oh my goodness
that died. The other one there but this one's still I think alive. Are you still alive? Yeah
but that one is gone. So I just noticed this one. This has got a lot of growth underneath there.
Look at that. Ronionii. Tom Allen. Look at that. So this needs to be cleaned up and also maybe
given a little tweaking. Oh look pots like this are cracking so I have to get rid of
even a touch of it. It's just not meant for outdoor use. So this one I'll take my little
rock here and that one needs to be chucked away. Chuck away. Chuck away. Chuck away.
Okay a lot of empty pots here. That needs redoing. There's a couple of
succulents there. Just see how much the soil has receded.
Oh this one gorgeous. I think this is Yenlisa. Oh Yamato Haru. Spring. Yamato Springs.
Look how beautiful you are. Look how beautiful they said on this. Oh gorgeous. See I need to
put you somewhere where you can grow and then also I can put another plant there. Maybe erase this up
and redo that later on but for the meantime I'm going to give you a drink and the sun is out
and I am getting burned. Okay I'm just gonna put that one back there again. Check out my hat.
Look how big this is. Look at that. So sun's out and I am watery. This is gonna be disaster
but it doesn't matter. I'm gonna continue. So anywho. I am brave. I am strong. I am woman.
I am mad. I know I'm mad but anyway I have never experienced this so this is the first for me.
Watering when it's 37 degrees and then the sun's out so that's going to be an interesting result.
Hang on I'll just go check this one. What are you doing? Okay this is Black Prince and it's got
some funny beautiful colors and I thought that was burnt but it's not. Anyway let's go. That's
all saturated you can see so oh sun sun sun. I live for the sun. Burning all my succulent eggs.
I'm just making that up okay. I am very very very afraid right now but anyway
once I've done something I'm committed to it. I don't back out. I don't back down.
But it will be an interesting result and I think it's about two o'clock and we're coming
on to the hottest part of the day by three and four o'clock. These are all gonna burn okay
but then again I get to learn something new again that says do not water when
it's over 30 degrees. But we'll just see. If I continuously just keep them wet would they love it?
I don't know. I will see. This one's the variegated extensive ones. It's not so bad because they're
and also these ones here have got like shell covering the ones in the top. I don't know. I'm
risking it but the ones here are I'm sure it's gonna be okay and look how beautiful that my
five dollar cubic frost variegated is becoming. Those are actually grown from leaves but look
at them now. Gorgeous. I am watering everything. So by the time I finish this video or finish
watering well I will edit the video in the next couple of days so that way I get to see the result
and I will show you the result whether they are going to die or not. Okay so oh this one's about
to I see pink pink blooms about to bloom bloom bloom beautiful orana. I better give you
or this lemon tree. Two of them are grown from seeds. This came from my father-in-law's
backyard. Well the fruit came from the lemon came from his backyard and one was given to me
by my husband's nephew-in-law and then the other one I grown from a seed from a lemon that came from
dad's garden.
Hooray another variegated plant. Yes this is like I don't know four years old when I bought this and
I haven't reported it I sold. Okay this is not a variegated one this is just ordinary one and it has
variegated or died but for now still alive and it looks variegated so I will take it as variegated.
Okay so this is what I'm saying this thing here on slow variegated has just decided to
do that nothing I can do about that so this is even before I watered it so I suspect this has
been dry and it's been cannibalizing itself to try and survive. So for now I'm going to remove
all this cannibalization that happened there you go remove that anything that's affected or maybe
it's got mealy bug I suspect as well so but the plant itself it's soft the stem
so it means it's been in need of water water for a while and yep it's dry poor thing so that's
what happens so dang if you do and dang if you don't so it needs water I might as well give it water
there you go drown baby drown drink
drown I am a silly silly silly person
another one Francesca variegated has a pocket from not enough watering I'm sure and then this one
my oldest baby Bloody Maria needs to be watered as well there you go
let's see one of the offsets of my original plant
get them wet get them wet everything wet whatever dies dies and whatever lives will live
you gotta live okay oh look at all those cute little pudgies hello pudgies you need
some replanting or repotting oh that reminds me this one this is Bernalensi did you just grow
from a leaf like the other ones here I'm sure you did because these other ones are also Bernalensi
but it's not variegated just ordinary just an ordinary ordinary girl that reminds me
a couple years ago I planted some leaves on this pot so anyone who watches
well those of you who watches my video would probably remember this
bunt planter that I did when I scattered the leaves from my Bernalensi that's variegated
so so far there's only a one a two variegated the rest or maybe I don't know so they sort of
looks non-variegated but I did get two that are variegated or three three and maybe those ones
will still variegate but this thing is quite light and needs to be watered as well and then
I also planted some bronze delight that are variegated they are not variegated anymore
they're just ordinary bronze delight or should I say red delight and so on this whole pot because
they're all tall and gangly I need to chop chop chop them and plant them and of course
where you chop off new pups will grow and this whole bunt will thicken up what do I have here
I've got a Bernalensi that has been broken off and now is growing a lot of pups as well so
this thing here came from that that I broke off would be a few weeks ago now and then I stuck it
in there and now look at all the babies growing this goes to show that one shouldn't be afraid
to go chop chop chop it's now 5 30 in the afternoon and check out the temperature so
it's still around 36 so it's still hot warm but the wind has come up and of course since I watered
earlier there's still some that has a little bit of water you can see a little bit of water still
and the rest of them have dried up you can see them all drying up and of course that one has got
some burn marks on the other side but that was already from before so it did not do any harm
from what I can see at the moment Korteleden is still intact in one piece so anyway up the top
here there's a little bit of I think straight away that one because a while ago that wasn't
there sort of little rotting but I don't know whether were you there now that was already there
because it's got a mark so that's been hit by something but anywho my plants is looking much
happier and I just want to touch them I just want to feel yep they're all nice and plump there you
whereas a while ago they were a little bit on the soft side so no harm done even at 37 degrees
happy days look at Beyonce so bouncy bouncy as well like really really firm oh I love it and
even this one looks like it has grown a couple of millimeters anyway guys that's all I've got
for this video I am now gonna continue working inside and also later on I'm gonna water the
rest of my garden where it's in the dark and a little bit more cooler
