How to Apply - Joining the Army - Army Jobs

Joining the Army. Starting your application. A quick guide. If you haven't already decided, visit apply.army.mod.uk to look at the different ways you can join, full-time, part-time, as an officer or a soldier. Next, check the can I join section to see if you're okay to apply. You can do this from a PC, tablet or phone. You'll then need to register an account. This will take you a couple of minutes. At the end, you'll be emailed an activation link. You'll now have access to your dashboard. This is where you'll find all the info you need, where you are in the process, your next steps and any messages from us. The eligibility check is next. This tells us if you can join and what sort of job you can go for. This will take about age, qualifications, where you've lived for the last five years, nationality and your right to work in the UK. You'll get an answer straight away. Your dashboard will then show you the application forms that are suitable for you. If you're not sure which to choose, you can do more research on the website or chat to us. It won't take you very long as we only ask you for basic information. You can tell us more about yourself later in the process. You'll then be taken back to your updated dashboard, where you might find requests for more information, depending on the answers you gave in your application.
