It's me Bev. Long time no see. So when you're in a country where almost half of the year is cold,
when it starts to get warm, we just want to make the most out of it. So enjoying every single day,
that's one. So haven't uploaded new video, but today we are trying to tidy the china suite.
We are trying to arrange, put in more chinas that are outside in the garage. We're preparing it for
the cold season because when the cold season comes, I don't want them cold in our garage.
So today we are actually on the side part of the house. So this is actually outside the house and
this is the main entrance to the suite from the outside. So I'll be showing you a wider view of
how it actually looks like since we've tidied one spot. So I could show you a wider angle of
how the suite looks like. So come join me as I show you around. All right. So that is the
main view or the wider view because I usually just show one side and that's where the teapots are.
So that's the main view. So what I'll be doing today is actually show you or I'll be introducing
to you four different patterns that are actually showcased in one of my display stands. So we'll
be talking more about these four patterns. They are special, they are quite rare and pricey too
depending on which part of the world you're collecting from. So fun fact, China prices
actually varies from where you are. So there are some patterns that are cheap in some
countries while expensive on others. So what I'll be showing to you are just four, two of which are
just made with tea sets as inclusion and the remaining two actually has expensive dinner
sets that go with it. All right. So just opening the stand so it's easier to see the view of the
patterns that I'll be showing you today. So that's four patterns. But before that,
so this is actually the door where I usually take photos from. So it's the door that leads from the
China suite into the main house. So that's what I use. That's where we access the suite from the
main house. So now if you could come over here so you could show the beautiful patterns that I'm
talking about. All right. So I'll be opening them. So I like this display stand. It's just from Ikea.
It's not really fancy but it houses my treasures and it's for smaller space. It's perfect.
It displays what you want to display and it's good for small spaces. So to start off with the
four patterns that I'm showing you today. This is the very first one. So lovers of pink.
This is your thing. So this is actually, I would say, a series of the old country rose patterns.
So this is called the old country rose ruby celebration pink chintz. So with this basically
just tea set made for this pattern. It has a salad plate. As you can see there, there is a beautiful
salad plate. This is a teapot and it comes with a lidded sugar bowl and a creamer jug. I'm just
not quite sure. I haven't seen any yet of an open sugar bowl for this pattern. So it comes with a
cup and saucer. So proudly this is a made in England set that I have kept. It also has a counterpart
that is made in Asia. But as much as possible for my personal collection, if there is the made in
England version, I prefer to keep that. So next in line is another chintz. So this is the
Royal Albert old country rose chintz collection. So it's really, really, really very beautiful.
It's, I would really say, my favorite. It's, I mean, I have a lot of favorites but this one
is very close to my heart. I just love the combination of colors. So for this, just also tea
set. So teapot, sugar and creamer. So I have seen, so this is the lidded sugar bowl, but I have
seen this which I would classify as an open sugar bowl for this pattern. So with this one,
I am still in search of a cup and saucer. The reason that I don't have it is I just can't
bleed for how much they were selling. So I'm looking at minimum of a hundred dollars for just
a cup and saucer and that's way, way beyond my budget for cup and saucer. So I found, I'm still
in search for that. Hopefully I'll get one soon. And with this, different from the pink chintz,
this one has a coffee mug. So as you can see, that's gorgeous mug. Solid gold handle and it's,
it's just amazing. I guess I'm just so inclined with anything sparkly, sparkling and gold. I just
love them. So what we have here, since I have the mug, so this is the mug, as you can see how
beautiful it is. You'll see that all gold handle, gold rim, which perfectly matches the combination
of colors. I do have the ceramic coaster. So it's a coaster that matches and holds my mug. So at
least if I use my mug, put it in my wooden table, then the heat from the mug doesn't damage my
table. So it's always good to have a coaster with your mug. So that's one thing, just like me having
trivets on my, on my pots. So for this two pattern, the two chintz, they are only tea sets. With this
pink chintz, I haven't seen any sandwich tray or any cake tray that goes with it yet. Hopefully
we'll see, we'll see some, but I don't think they have made this as extensive as the, I call this
green chintz, just to differentiate the two. With this one, they do have the rectangular
sandwich tray that goes with it. It also have a, it has a salad plate. It has the cup and saucer,
of course. And it also comes with some ornaments like vases, picture frame, trinkets, it has that.
But I have kept this to, to just the basic tea set. That's what I want. And below that is the,
one of the favorites of vintage Royal Albert collectors, the popular Lady Ascot. So this one
was made in an extensive set. So it comes with a teapot, and I think this also comes with a coffee
pot, although I haven't seen one yet. But yeah, it has a dinner set. It has a tureen. It even has the
biggest, biggest piece for Royal Albert, which is the soup tureen. This pattern is quite rare,
especially if you are hunting the Made in England pieces. There are a lot of Made in Asia pieces for
this, but again, I want to keep my personal collection to Made in England versions as long as
they have the Made in England version. Although I have started to collect some
of the newer ones that captures my heart. So with this one, what I have for the Lady Ascot is
actually a sandwich tray, or some people call it a cake tray too. We have the teapot, sugar and
so the laded sugar, which I want. And oh, I'm missing a regal tray for this. I have a coffee
mug. So lovely, lovely, lovely coffee mug. So that, I have it. And there are three cups remaining.
I have sold a lot of this cup and saucers already. So the saucer, I do have the saucer for that,
but it's still in the packaging, which was actually the packaging we used when we moved
to this house back in January. And on the bottom is actually a new acquisition. So it's called
Royal Albert Rose Garland, and it's beautiful. So just fun fact, the gilding for this pattern
is actually silver. So with that, it's very rare that I would be attracted to silver,
but because the pattern itself is really beautiful, all the flowers. I wouldn't say it's
pink. I don't know how to, I mean, I'm not the best person to describe color, but for me,
it looks like a crossover of purple and pink. My husband is colorblind, I won't even know
how she would, how he would describe this color. Because it's, for me, it's like a crossover of
pink and purple. So it's like purplish pink, I would say. So with this, it also comes with an
extensive dinner set. So it has serving pieces, it has rimmed soup bowls, it has teapot as well.
What I have right now is the coffee pot. I'm hoping to get the teapot soon. Hopefully I'll
find one someday. And this also has the big, biggest item again for the Ichiro Albert pattern,
which is the soup tureen. So I would love to have the soup tureen, but only if I find a dinner set
for this beautiful pattern. So despite the fact that the gilding is silver, I am still able to
appreciate its beauty just because of how the flowers are. I mean, I, I would say it's the
combination of color itself. It's beautiful, it's unique, the flowers are not so big, and it's,
it's just lovely. It's definitely a keeper. So these are the four patterns that I want to show
you today. And just one thing though, so back here with Royal Ascot, I mean not Royal Ascot, but Lady
Ascot. This is, I actually call this as the pink version of Lady Carlyle. So let's take this mug.
So if you look at the mug, so this is Lady Ascot. And if you look at Lady Carlyle, although the
flowers are different, but look at their design. They are very similar. So they complement each
other, right? You can see the flowers are different, but the designs are very, very similar, right?
There you go. So with Lady Ascot, it's just so pricey. It's so hard to find specific made in
England pieces, so I have decided not to expand this. But of course, if I stumble on a good deal
of a dinner set, then I would love to have that. But since they are so close with enchantment,
and with enchantment, I already have an expensive set, so let's just keep it as is. Just a tea set
with a mug, and I'm happy contented with what we have. So these are the four patterns that
we are featuring today. I hope you enjoy those four beauties. Yep, so personally, I am from Canada,
so based on the region that I am in. So these patterns are actually, you can find them cheaper
in the U.S. With Rose Garland though, I think they are concentrated in the European area.
But for chintz, if you want to find them cheap, the best way or the best place to look for them
is actually in the U.S. You can find good deals and get the most of your dollars.
So for now, I'm happy with what I have with this chintz, and for this Lady Ascot and
Rose Garland, hopefully I could find more pieces of them in the future. And you know,
it's always a beauty to add to this collection. All right, beautiful, aren't they? So now let's
go ahead and close this stand to make sure they don't accidentally fall off. So right,
I hope you enjoyed our video for today. So it's just four patterns. We will be moving forward
for our task for the day, which is to tidy again, tidy more as much as possible. No more china in
the floor so that we would have easier access to some patterns. I know a lot of people have
already suggested in our next content, we will try to accommodate as much as we can. So now that
there are lesser plans for the next two weeks, I would say, I would be featuring more patterns
within the next, say, couple of days. So within the next two weeks, I would try my very best to
do at least two or three videos featuring special patterns. So at least you have an idea. So
especially for people who are looking to start their collection, then that would give you a
glimpse or an idea of which pattern to collect. So now time for me to continue with our tidying. So
this room would be clean and we could do more videos in the future. So again,
please don't forget to like, share, and subscribe. Your subscription would be a great motivation. So
if we see the subscription growing, then we would be more encouraged to create videos for you.
So definitely just a happy place, happy page, happy channel to showcase my collection.
Have a great week ahead, everyone!
