This luxury modern home redefines the meaning of living with nature.
Surrounded by endless rice fields and mountain views,
this sanctuary rises quietly from the landscape.
Elegant, grounded and deeply intentional.

This episode is in collaboration with Oram Development Company,
builders of luxury homes that create living spaces shaped around lifestyle.
This home is crafted by Sutad,
a builder driven by a genuine passion for curating meaningful, well-curated homes.
I think a lot of developers in Chiang Mai, in everywhere,
they sell the product like what the people say,
what the people order but they don't understand in the mind of the client.
The feeling is the most important when they build a house.
As we enter, the first sensation is an unexpected gondola.
A soaring double-volume hall with a chandelier feature is curated for an impressive arrival.
From this dramatic hall, the architecture intentionally draws us inwards
into a narrower foyer with a lower ceiling.
The foyer is dressed in white with clean lines that allow the architecture to speak quietly.
A cosy fireplace anchors the space in warm as a grand staircase gently turns the corner.
Further in, the space opens up to an open-plan double-volume living and dining area.
The shift in scale is instant and cinematic, designed for maximum visual impact.
This is the effect of spatial sequencing.
By thoughtfully controlling how and when space reveals itself,
the architecture heightens our emotions to respond to the home.
Inspired by vacation homes overseas,
the designers use mainly cream and beige shades for the interiors.
At the heart of this open living space sits a generous kitchen island,
designed not just for cooking but for connection.
While the dry kitchen is designed for gathering,
the wet kitchen is hidden away in a separate room.
This thoughtful separation keeps heavy cooking practical and contained.
Without disrupting the openness of the main living space,
the architecture allows the surrounding landscape to lead,
grounding the home in light and openness.
Full-height windows frame the expansive view outdoors,
dissolving the boundaries between indoors and outdoors.
The pool stretches outwards and beyond it,
the landscape continues uninterrupted,
showcasing the mountain views.
Each functional zone in the interior is oriented towards different surrounding landscapes,
creating dynamic experiences of scenery in every part of the home.
The landscape unfolds across different levels,
adding depth and movement while drawing nature closer to the living spaces.
An outdoor pavilion offers a quiet place to pause and bask in nature.
Imagine waking up to rice fields, entertaining friends and family under open skies.
And living at a slower, more intentional pace.

This is a rare opportunity to own a top-fully designed countryside retreat
where architecture and nature exist in perfect harmony.
As we leave the social energy on the ground floor,
the transition to the private quarters becomes a sculptural journey.
By wrapping the staircase around an elegant chandelier,
the designers create a focal point,
showcasing the entire height of the house.
The master bedroom unfolds as a serene retreat,
inviting you into a private seating area.
Framing views of the serene rice fields,
the bedroom becomes a personal sanctuary.
Every wall is elegantly detailed with intricate mouldings,
adding timeless craftsmanship that complements the tranquil setting.
The master bedroom is designed with a clear, thoughtful flow,
leading into a spacious walk-in closet and ending in the bathroom.
This spatial layout ensures each area feels distinct yet connected,
elevating everyday routines.
A masterclass in luxury,
the master bathroom is furnished in marble and gold essence.
The second bedroom greets you with a dedicated dressing area
before flowing seamlessly into a spacious retreat.
With window-framing serene views,
the rhythm of nature becomes part of everyday life.
With similar minimalist design,
the other rooms put the focus on different curated sceneries of nature.
On the top floor,
the rooftop dining deck opens up to beautiful views,
stretching endlessly across the rice fields and surrounding landscape.
Rooftop dining decks are a simple yet powerful way
to extend living spaces vertically.
They create a unique entertaining space
while deepening a home's connection to its surrounding.
In this home,
the rice fields, mountain and nature are not just a backdrop,
but deeply part of everyday life.
It is a home that understands the rhythm of living,
where movement through spaces becomes a series of emotions,
not just transitions.
