So our final skater in this penultimate group. She goes into this lying in seventh place,
got a season's best score in the short program. Really hope she can keep that going here. Remember
she was silver medalist last year. Wish her all the best. Brady Tunnell for USA.
Yeah, took a long look at that combination. Looked pretty good. Certainly the lutz,
maybe the toe was short. Triple lutz, double toe, triple toe, sorry. Yeah, lovely entry into the
loop. Double axel on the end. That's our sequence. Looked good on the flip. Well done Brady. Triple
lutz, double toe, double loop. Up in the second half. Keeps it going with a really good triple
salchow. Loop looked good to me. Well, I tell you, I've got a lump in my throat. There isn't
a skater out there, I can tell you, that works any harder than Brady Tunnell. She is an amazing
athlete and always gives, well, 110% I can tell you. I'll never forget when Benoit Richaud started
working with her and he was choreographing a program and he'd been working with her all day,
working on trying to get the choreography just right and she'd been on the ice maybe four or
five hours, maybe longer, and then once she finished with the choreography and said cheerio
to Benoit, what did she do? She started doing her jumps and her run-throughs. It was fantastic.
Well done to Jeremy Allen greeting her at the door. Really super stuff and she's had to deal
with injury after injury throughout her career. Remember as a junior many moons ago she had a
horrific back injury and she managed somehow to fight her way through that and remember back in
late 2023 broke her ankle, she had pins put into her ankle. That would have finished most skaters
off but not Brady. She came back the following year and won a silver medal at the Four Continents
Championships in Seoul. Remember that? Not going to get on the podium here. In seventh place,
a season's best in the short, she gave it everything she had on the day here in the free.
Yeah, a couple of the jumps under-rotated, she got some cues there.
That triple toe at the end of the combination at the beginning getting an under-rotation but
it makes your heart glow when you see an athlete go out there when they're not in the position they
want to be. Finished fourth in nationals, another disappointment. Didn't make the Olympic team this
year but here in Beijing in the free, Brady again just gives of herself, leaves it all on the ice
and Jeremy leading the applause. Fantastic stuff, I love her. So she needs 118 to go into the lead,
I think she's going to do that. It's another season's best for Brady to nail 133 21.
Come on, great stuff. Nearly made 200, look at it. Could have had a smidge there so it's a
season's best overall and Brady Tunnell goes into the lead as we go into the final group.
