Welcome back to our channel.
It's about time.
It's been way too long.
We've been gone about a year.
Yeah, well, no, kinda.
Kinda, because the last vlog we posted was our birth vlog.
But we didn't post that for a little while.
That's true, that's true.
But the last thing that was posted on this channel
was from over a year ago.
Right, and that was Andi's birth,
and she is now a year and a month old, which is crazy.
She is, she's starting to talk.
She's saying so many different words right now,
like you can't hardly understand her
unless you know who she is.
Her personality has really come out.
Yeah, we're in for it.
We are.
So we haven't been on here in a while,
and we just figured we would sit down
and start back with a simple Q&A.
We are determined.
We're determined to get videos.
We get asked probably every week,
hey, when are y'all gonna start back posting YouTube?
I wish y'all would post YouTube.
So here we are.
We want to.
We're excited about it.
The year off was very busy for us,
and now we want to take some time
and spend it on making YouTube videos.
Exactly, and so we plan to post two to four times a month.
It will just depend on schedules, busyness.
If you have anything that you want to see from us this year,
definitely leave them in the comments below.
If you want to see daily vlogs and just how we live our life,
if you want to see travel vlogs,
if you want to see more Q&A.
We like to eat food.
Or some cooking videos.
Y'all know I love cooking.
Shelby's been dying to do a mukbang over here.
We should do a mukbang.
Okay, here we go.
I don't know if the diet's gonna allow that.
We just want it for a week after.
So let's get started.
2025 was a big year for us.
It was a big year.
I mean, our bucket list got so much shorter.
Yeah, it did.
We were able to do some of the coolest collaborations,
go on some of the coolest trips with our friends and family.
Just unbelievable opportunities.
I think about the Opry.
We got to announce at the Grand Ole Opry,
and it's like chills.
We're backstage, we're in a dressing room,
and it's just like, is this real life?
Is this real life?
Like, I'm just a country boy from Alabama,
and they put me up in here like I'm in the Taj Mahal.
That was really cool.
We also did our MLB and booking collab,
which was a week long, a week and a day long trip
where we flew to all eight division series games.
And we were like kids in a candy store.
That was like, how do we pass this?
Right, coolest collab ever.
We love Major League Baseball.
Y'all know we're big Braves fans,
so we got to do that, which was really cool.
And now I think we kind of turned
from Braves fans to baseball fans.
Yeah, we're still huge Braves fans,
but we're a bigger fan of baseball now because of it.
We know more players and stuff.
We keep up.
We're gonna keep up more this year because of it.
So it was really cool.
We can't even sit here.
We'd be sitting here all day
if we talked about all the opportunities that we got to do.
But 2025 was huge.
It was, and the most important thing
is we got to do it all with our family and friends,
which was really fun.
Getting to see the kids grow up
and their relationship just form has been really cool
because at the beginning,
Kemp was not a huge fan of his little sister.
For a good seven, eight months.
Yeah.
We were at the Bahamas and he started playing with her
and we're like, what are you doing?
He realized that she was gonna stick around
and that she was a real baby, a real human,
and he could play with her.
And so now, they are the best friends.
They don't do anything without one another
and they have also started sparring with one another.
Yeah, they're...
They...
Yeah, they like to aggravate each other,
but it's been fun to watch.
Yeah, it's gonna be fun.
Being parents, we grew in parenthood this year.
We learn just every day, it seems like.
Just, I don't know.
It's just my favorite part of the day is being their dad.
Yeah, it's really fun.
All right, so now I figured
we would get into some questions.
I asked on Instagram if y'all had any questions for us
about where we've been, what's going on with us,
or just any burning questions that you had,
and y'all came through.
So I figured we would answer some of those.
The number one question that we got asked
was about baby number three.
Really?
Yeah.
People wanna know, are we having baby number three?
When do we want to have baby number three?
So let's get into that.
We are not pregnant with baby number three yet.
No speculation, please.
But we do want a third baby at some point, just not yet.
Yeah, not yet.
I don't, you know, there's a possibility,
you know, Lord willing,
we could have one nine months from now,
but I mean, we don't plan on having one in 2026.
But possibly, things could change.
Next month we could decide.
But yes, we do want another one as of right now.
Gonna give it some time.
I need to get my body back in shape.
I was only nine months postpartum
when I got pregnant with Andy.
And so I just feel like my body needs
a little bit of a longer break this time.
Get it back in shape.
Yeah, she's been in,
she's been hard in the gym for the last seven days.
She said, she got notification
that she had ridden her bike seven days straight.
So I could use some of that motivation, Shelby.
Because I've been, I've been in the woods.
So I've been walking around and exercising.
Yeah.
But she's really been dedicated.
I just have to get back into it, you know?
Once I get started, it's easier to keep going.
You do, yeah.
It's hard for you to start, I think.
Yeah.
But once you get started, like you get,
you get your mindset on it.
I'm locked in.
Yeah, she locks in.
That's right.
I've also been doing Pilates by Izzy here on YouTube.
And if you haven't tried it yet,
beware, it is one of the hardest classes you'll ever take,
but it is so good.
You know what I thought you were gonna say
when you said our most asked question?
If I still had a job.
I got that one a lot too.
We get that question, like we can't answer everybody.
So we just like, yeah,
we can't sit there and answer everybody.
So we just hardly ever really talk about it.
But this is both of our full-time jobs.
Yes, we've been home for a little while now
and we are so blessed to be able to do this.
Like we understand that this is special
and it's a special job.
And the Lord chose us to be able to do it.
Whether that's the same next year or 10 years from now,
maybe it's not.
But as of right now,
we feel like the Lord has us in place.
Yes.
So we both have degrees.
He has a degree in business management.
Is that right?
And I have a degree in elementary education.
I also have a master's in elementary education
and I'm currently keeping up my teaching certificate
in case I need to go back and teach
or if I ever want to go back and teach, I can do that.
So I have that in my back pocket.
He has that in his back pocket.
We honestly feel so content, so blessed by this job.
I don't think we'll ever go back to our previous jobs
or have to go back into the nine to five workspace.
And I hope I get to teach my own kids.
Our goal is for me to homeschool my kids
and at least while they're young.
And so we can continue to travel
and just live the lifestyle that we're living currently.
So I will get to use my education there,
but yeah, right now we're very content,
very happy to have a lot more free time home with our kids,
which has been such a blessing
and get the opportunity to travel a lot more,
which is what we've always wanted to do.
And I think that we started this
with the intention of being able to do that.
Right, yeah.
Yeah, we started it to have fun with it
and for it to possibly be an income one day.
We knew that there was a possibility
that we could make this our career.
Right.
And thankfully the Lord blessed that
and he has allowed it.
So this was, you know, it was intentional.
Yeah.
Yeah, we're not gonna sugarcoat it.
And we love it.
Yeah, and we love being able to do it.
He does.
So do it.
Yeah.
Yeah, it's obtainable.
Yeah, it is obtainable.
If you-
Did I say that right?
Obtainable.
Obtainable?
Yeah, obtainable.
What's obtain?
You obtain something.
We obtain this job.
But we're talking about it.
We don't have time to go into vocabulary.
You're the teacher.
No.
I never claim to be good at grammar.
Watch our videos.
You'll see that.
That's very obvious.
All right, so let's continue.
All right, this is a question for you, Dil.
What is the cabin on your property for?
I guess right now it's a yard ornament.
That's true.
Oh.
We have hung out in there once.
We watched a football game
because there is a TV in there.
Everyone just had to bring lawn chairs.
Yeah.
The cabin,
which I think I've touched on possibly on my channel,
which I also haven't posted in a while.
And I'm about to start that one back up
because we're dedicated this year.
2026 is a year of dedication.
Hopefully the cabin will be a place one day
to host family and friends that are in town.
I'm thinking like a getaway.
Like if, you know,
we want to get away for the,
it's only 15 minutes from here,
but if we don't want to stay in the house,
we want to go over there and take the kids
and play.
There's a big yard.
There's woods or stuff.
You know, we've got stuff to ride on over there.
You know?
Yeah.
So if we want to do that,
also, if we were to move away one day,
we have no plans to do that.
But if we were to move away,
it would give us a place to stay
when we come back to see family.
Exactly.
Right now it is not renovated or anything like that.
So we don't have any beds,
any furniture,
anything over there yet.
Our plan is to renovate it
and to make it livable
so that we can go and stay over there quite a bit.
So we still have a lot of work to do over there,
but I'm very excited for the cabin.
Yeah.
We want to get that project going.
What are each other's most annoying habit?
I think Shelby knows what I'm going to say.
Yeah.
I know exactly what he's going to say.
But he thinks it's cute whenever the kids do it.
Shelby will dance when she eats
something that she really likes.
And I don't know why,
but I'm just like,
it gives me the ick.
Tell him that that is a totally normal reaction.
And you should find it endearing
that I get happy from food.
You should be getting happy from Jesus like that.
I didn't.
Next time Pastor Tim gets up there,
I better see some mm, mm, mm, mm, mm, mm.
But yeah, our kids got that gene from her as well.
Both of them dance every time they eat.
So they don't give me the ick though.
Okay.
Of course.
What is your most annoying habit?
I don't think I have one.
It's really hard for me to think of one.
I mean, that's obvious.
Mainly he just leaves stuff laying everywhere.
Like he never puts stuff back where it goes.
And I normally have to come back behind him
and clean it up.
Just like there might be like a pair of underwear
laying on the floor when literally the hamper
is like through the door about 10 feet.
Or there might be like a hat laying on the counter
and he has a place where we put hats.
I'm running out of room.
Plus I might throw on that hat at some point.
Do you see a hat in here?
No.
Actually I think there's one on the island, but.
Of course.
You never know when you need a good hat.
But I do agree, I need to work on that.
But y'all should see behind this counter
how much stuff she has laying everywhere.
Guilty right now.
It's been a crazy day.
Someone asked, do we live in Alabama?
And why are we Braves fans if we live in Alabama?
This is Braves country.
We are in Alabama, but Braves country ranges from,
I'm trying to think what they like to say,
but all the way from like North, South Carolina,
all the way to Mississippi.
Yeah.
Louisiana, possibly.
Probably not, Louisiana.
Louisiana's probably more like the Texans and stuff.
Is that baseball?
That's football.
I meant the Astros.
Ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha.
I think you meant the Texas Rangers.
Oh, the Rangers.
But it could be either one.
Where are the Astros at?
Houston, which is close to Louisiana.
Yeah, that's what I was thinking.
Cause I was thinking Houston, cause it's closer.
That's why we're big Braves fans.
I grew up watching the Braves.
Me too.
Chipper Jones was my, you know,
that probably my favorite athlete of all time.
He is my favorite baseball player of all time.
And I got to meet him this year,
which is another thing at 2025.
I was pretty speechless.
It was cool.
He's, you know, looked up to him as I,
whenever I was little, so.
I used to go and watch Braves baseball games
in the summertime when we would visit my aunt and uncle.
And I remember sitting in the outfield at one game
and I was probably like 12 years old
and seeing Jeff Rencore.
And I was like, oh yeah, that's, that's my guy.
That's my fave.
And the day we met Chipper, we also met Jeff Rencore.
Did we meet him?
Maybe we didn't.
No, but they were up there like talking together.
Yeah, they hosted it together.
But anyway, one of the coolest things from 2025,
met a hero and Chipper for seeing this.
Thank you.
I'm sure we'll hang out later.
Yeah, yeah, we're best friends.
Yeah, we're kind of best friends.
I'll text you later.
Are we Christians?
Yes.
I hope, I hope, is that a question?
Yeah, they wanted to know if we were Christians.
Then, you know, maybe I have a little conviction
because I feel like I need to do more
for you to know that I'm a Christian.
I think a Christian, you should be able to tell.
And see their fruit.
Yeah, and see their fruit.
So, and maybe I'm not bearing enough fruit.
Maybe we need to talk more about that.
Yeah, maybe we need to talk more about that.
But absolutely, it's the most important thing in our life.
Yeah, it is.
And someone asked how we serve at church.
And so we do nursery.
We keep nursery one Sunday morning out of the month.
And then I keep nursery one Sunday evening
and one Wednesday evening out of every month.
That is a way that we serve the church.
We also help with any kind of drives that they do.
Like food drives, you know, back to school stuff.
We've filled in for teaching.
Yeah, we've led Sunday school.
We've also, we've gone on several mission trips.
I've went on one out of the country.
Shelby's been on like three.
Three out of the country
and several inside the country as well.
Yeah, we just like to serve in any way
that we possibly can.
We are, we're at church pretty much every single Sunday
unless we're out of town.
Yeah.
And then Sunday nights and Wednesday nights as well.
We want our kids to grow up around it
and we hope that one day they'll come to know Jesus.
Yeah, if you have any questions about Jesus,
let us know.
Let us know.
Because we'd love to tell you about him.
Exactly.
Also, someone asked if we would ever share our testimony
and I think we could probably do that.
Yeah, we could probably do a video on that one day.
Yes.
All right, moving on.
What is our best advice for growing on social media?
Best advice for growing.
I have a couple things that come right to my mind.
I think of like consistency.
That's number one.
I think that's like your biggest key
is continuously posting.
Yeah.
You want to be consistent.
We haven't stopped.
We only take about a day break.
On our short social media.
So that's like, you know.
We did stop this one for over a year, so.
Are we the ones that should be giving advice?
Yeah.
Yeah, so we think being consistent is very important.
Post every day, maybe take a day off a week,
two days off, depending on this.
I say do take your Sabbath.
That's one thing we didn't do early
and once we started doing it, it just refreshed us.
It's been a blessing.
So yeah, we would say definitely be consistent.
I also think you really need to try and edit your videos.
Like just get better.
Just practice editing, getting better at timing,
cutting things out, doing quick clips.
And that'll come more as you continue posting and editing.
Like that's just something that comes with time.
You can't just one day just be like,
oh, I'm going to work so hard
and I'm going to be so much better at it.
Yeah, the harder you work, the better you'll be,
but you just need to keep on keeping on
and you'll just continuously get better.
Yes, look at the people that you follow
and that you love to watch and take inspiration from them.
See how they edit their videos,
see how they film their videos
and everything doesn't have to be perfect.
I know a lot of people are always like,
film on the back camera, film on this.
Everything doesn't have to be perfect to start out.
You can consistently get better.
Plus, I think just make sure you're being entertaining
in whatever you're doing
because what you're doing is to entertain somebody.
If you want them to follow you,
they're not going to follow you
unless they feel entertained by you.
Exactly.
So just make sure you're giving everything your all.
And then film stuff that you love.
So be passionate about whatever you're filming,
whatever content you want to put out there,
whatever niche you choose.
If you choose one, just be passionate about it
and have fun doing it.
I love cooking content.
We love making people laugh.
That's our bread and butter
because that's what, before we did social media,
we loved making people laugh.
Just do what you love.
All right, we'll end it with this question.
What is our favorite thing about being a mom and a dad?
I love everything about being a dad.
It's the best.
It's hard to choose a favorite thing
whenever you're a parent.
Yeah.
I would say...
Oh, I know.
I know what it is.
Okay.
My kids, I can be gone for five minutes
and I'll come in the door
and they are the most exciting people
in the entire universe.
But they will be,
Dada!
Yeah.
And then Kemp will run up,
give me a hug, Dada.
And then here comes Andy,
just she's, you know how a lot of people are flat footed?
She's flat hand.
She's crawling.
She still ain't walking yet,
but she's crawling.
And then she comes up and like,
it's my favorite thing.
Sweetest thing in the world.
That is probably one of my favorite things too.
I also just love the cuddles.
Kemp was not a big cuddler whenever he was a baby.
And so Andy is.
Oh, Andy, the best hugs.
She, we say, can I have a hug?
And she wraps both arms around your neck
and just gives the best hugs.
And she's done that forever.
She just loves cuddles.
Kemp also loves to get up in your lap
and let you read to him,
which is really sweet
because he doesn't sit in your lap very often anymore.
So the fact that he just loves books,
he's so intelligent.
He just loves reading.
He loves like learning.
And so I love seeing that.
So that, them learning new things,
and then also just getting all the cuddles.
It's the best thing in the world.
Yeah, we should really, you know,
do a video updating just them
because I know we don't show them.
Y'all know that we don't show their faces on here.
And, but we know y'all still care about them
because we shared our whole pregnancy journey with them
and all their milestones and stuff.
So yeah, we need to do that.
Yeah, we'll give an update on Kemp and Andy.
All right.
And if y'all want a more in depth
on why we don't show our kids' faces,
we can probably do something right now.
We can touch on that too.
Maybe in the same video.
So we'll see.
All right, this is successful.
Shelby, I'm so dedicated right now.
I'm feeling pumped.
I'm motivated.
I'm ready.
We're ready for 2026.
We're going to be posting.
Yes.
Y'all keep us accountable.
Please.
Yes.
If y'all notice a drought or something
or like where we're not posting.
DM us.
DM us on Instagram or whatever.
Be like, hey, y'all please post.
Y'all said y'all would.
So.
Write in the comments
and let us know that you're missing us.
I think seeing that will make us want to post some more.
Yes, absolutely.
Cause we miss y'all and we miss doing this.
And 2026 is going to be crazy.
It's going to be crazy.
There's already big plans.
I'm ready.
Someone said we might be in a movie,
but I didn't say that.
Or did I just say that?
Someone said we might be on a red carpet soon.
Oh.
So we'll see.
Someone also said that there might be a fun surprise
coming within the next week.
Surprise?
I'm just saying.
Do I know about this?
Oh yeah.
There is a, there's a huge surprise actually.
Big surprise coming.
How did I not remember that?
We'll see y'all on the next one.
Let us know what you want out of us.
Okay.
Bye.
Bye guys.
Boom.
