I'm going to install a new water tank. It has to sit in a hot space behind the fireplace, basically as a preheater for the electric boiler. I was working on this last winter, I think a video number 140, 153 or so. I had a tank that was just one flat compartment, but it couldn't handle the water pressure. So I made it a different design five cylinders. That should work better, but they all need to be connected together. I'm going to have to do some copper soldering and then see if it works. So they're not good of course. So I'm gonna make a coffee. I couldn't drink it. There's so many connections. I have to weld. Tomorrow I'm going to weld all the pieces. This one's mine. All right. So it's not looking very good. Yesterday's connection were done well. The solder really goes into the joints. But here it seems to stay outside. It doesn't want to go inside. So it's or the flux is evaporated and it's gone away. So it's getting too hot. Or I haven't heated it enough. So the solder stays outside. Or not even enough. It's a bit difficult to heat with this one. Because as soon as I go upside down it goes very aggressive. But it should be alright. I can't pressure test it right now because I have to also do the other side first. If there's a leak I have to take it all apart. ... Yep. Failure. The side I did yesterday was pretty bad. What I just did now was a lot better. There's one very small leak. So this was very bad. I think it's just not hot enough to make a good solder. And the wet cloth didn't help as well. Because it cools down the nearby joint too much. So soldering it without the wet cloth to protect the hemp I think worked better. I have to rebuild it. Maybe with flexible pipe. A bit easier to work with. This is a fail. ... Okay, I've reached the final height of the wall on that side. Still quite a bit to do on that side and here on the back. But I'm out of mortar so... And also it's going to rain tomorrow so I have to prepare for that. The rafters are all ready to go on. So I can put them there temporarily and I've got a tarp here. So I can copper everything and it's protected. Which is good. Yeah, rain first and then I think the temperature is going to go down quite a bit. And then I can't work with the mortar anymore because it won't cure. I think it's going to freeze quite a bit the end of next week. So, let's see. It is easier to work on the wall when the roof is still off. You know, to do that in spring when the roof is on there. You have to kind of fiddle in between. It's more difficult then. Now I can just work on top of it. So, yeah, it all depends on the weather from now. Cleaning things up. Helen did the greenhouse and the chicken coop. I think she planted a few things. Like winter garlic and things like that. Let's see how that does. The water tank, I'll get it to work. But it's one of the less smooth projects here. A bit ups and downs, but I think I'm going to work with flexible pipe. And I can get it done. So, yeah, getting there.
