The Emperor Matey Kaziyski Legend of Volleyball

To be pressure. To that middle. What's the set like? To wingside. Again they've picked up. Spitoli. Kaczynski. Brilliant hit. What a precious wing there from Matej Kaczynski. But he's nailed it perfectly. Can't get his revenge. Kaczynski once again out of system. It's a crazy hit. And that's the problem that Padova have at the moment against Kaczynski. Out of system for Cisterna. Spitoli on the defense. Morazato with the set. Oh my goodness. What a play from Kaczynski. Such a sharp sharp angle. He just... Off to Tate but it's in play. Wow and a windmill hit from Kaczynski. The set was perhaps a little bit behind where he would have wanted it. But it doesn't matter. He says I have shoulder mobility. Setting strong season for Piacenza. Set from Spitoli back to Kaczynski from the back row and it gets down in front of Brizard. Matej Kaczynski the Bulgarian legend. To Kaczynski. Quick middle. Well Spitoli how has he got to that? Kaczynski has a chance to cut it across the front of the block. And Taranto look crestfallen because there's nothing they can do to cope with the swinging of Kaczynski. Couldn't get the knock out. Oh Kaczynski has. First time of Askin. Spitoli nice free rotations to come here for Trento. Beautiful pass. Beautiful set and an even better block. Kaczynski goes one on one with Ivan Zaitsev. But Askin gets the ball in. Mayrejo makes the pass. Patry out of system. Nails it on to Kaczynski and Captain Fantastic has come to the party. Oh what a play. At this level it's your job isn't it? Think of a hell of a lot worse jobs to do. Again three blockers to beat and when he does things like this how does he do it? I mean unbelievable timing. Good serve from Vitelli. What a hit. That's a 38 year old pro jumping from behind. Against the team in red that's Taranto on the right of screen. Trailing by two sets. Oh clever clever clever from Kaczynski again. Oh and a really clever shot from Kaczynski. Does not always have to be pure power. He saw an opening on the court and decides to take that cut shot. What a placement. Nice ball. Gabi Garcia take. He goes hard at it. Brilliant serve. Out of system. Kaczynski beats the blockers and keeps Trentino in the set again. Get the side out they need but can they get the point back on serve that they need? Not the greatest is it? Oh are you kidding me? Are you kidding? That's ridiculous. Coming back up in the return leg on home territory. Different serve there from Engapet. More of a float than the normal boomer. And a good swing from Prokic. Big serve down the line running set over to Aaron Russell. High off the hands and controlled. So a chance for Trentino. Kaczynski. Wow what a sweep from Kaczynski with nobody up. Absolutely hammering that ball down. Just moving the rotation around a bit. Well that's just insane. Brilliant pass. Absolutely brilliant pass. Right on Kolo's head. Lagumja can win it at this service run. Well contained. Kaczynski. Good dig. Still in play. Lagumja. Well played. Great dig from Lavia. Kaczynski goes again. And he's done it. The angle was there. He took a bit off it to make sure he found it. And he's found it beautifully. He's going all the way up Trentino at the minute. Better ball in this time. Zenger on to it. Oh yes. Kaczynski off the net. Only cross. In play. Pick up. Out of system. Kaczynski will go against the block. He will get past the block. And now Trentino. So Dulic will serve. Should be picked up backcourt. Chance to get level here at 7-7. Well a hitter to power off the shot. In that fast middle. Trentino were able to pick up. None for this second set. He might not be out there much longer. He is being targeted. That's a better pass. And that's a swing and a half. Oh this man's arm action is so economical. But it is so fast. Yeah just you know keeping it simple. I think Kaczynski. What can he do? Oh great dig. Real chance here for Piacenza. Again such residual power on that overpass. Loose play. Out of system. Super dig by Spittoli. We're back in play. Longest rally of the match. Fantastic athleticism and anticipation on both sides of the net here. Then Kaczynski launches into the swing. And what a swing from Kaczynski on the left. Chance for others to showcase their skills here. Marazzano. That's an outrageous pickup. Getting exciting this set. That's for sure. It's so close. And it's still going. Not any longer. Certainly will finesse it. Here he goes again. A flat. Black is too devastating. Talk about devastating. Matej Kaczynski says okay I had my miss. Kaczynski. Nice cover from the libero. Kaczynski again. And he gets it through on the second chance. Kaczynski but credit all of that to Zenger who gets the dig. Just like Micheleto. And the man now at the net. Luccarelli. Good serve. Well contained by Spittoli. Decent spike from Lavia but good defensive positioning. And the Trentino block looking really good at the moment. Oh that is just quality. Super fast. It's in that serve. Just got to keep this side out scoreboard ticking over Lube. No they don't. They lose a point. Two points for Stern off the bench. Just two sets. Here's Kaczynski on the left side. Recycled. Kaczynski again. This time he goes down the line against Brissard and he gets it. Into the starting lineup. Do nicely. Very clever. Evergreen. 10. Just trying to find some momentum. Seeing what they can do here. Kaczynski. Oh my lord. What a swing from Mate Kaczynski. He can do no wrong in his age. The team captain. Serve goes short. Kaczynski goes into the hands of the block. Now it's the left hand of Micheleto. He's going to recycle. Cleverly played. Block doing his job for Lube. It's three up there. He handled well out of court. Covering off the touch. Garcia. Kaczynski in the corner. Well that's a massive point for Trentino. Two required. It's another one for Trentino. What a hit from Mate Kaczynski. A serve. Kaczynski. This time Pesarezzi takes the play. Patry lobs it down the line. Well defended by Lorenzano. It's the chance for the set. It's another slightly messy rally. Magaleo out of the back line. Well passed by Lorenzano. Kaczynski. Job done. Trentino are back in this semi-final. 25-19.
