Let’s explore the vast savanna and set out on a journey through the tall grass, across gentle hills and past trees that provide much needed shade.
But remember that anything can happen on the savanna! No matter if you’re a sheep, wolf, llama, or villager, you may be eaten, chased, spat on, or even meet your mate. So, stay vigilant – whether you’re avoiding trouble – or looking for it!

In the open, life travels side by side, but for those who walk alone, danger is never far.
Welcome to the savannah.
A small sheep, only a few ticks old, drifting on its own.
Too young to know the risks of being alone, and unaware of the danger that lurks in the shadows.
A wolf, hidden in the grass, driven by hunger and instinct.
Silent, patient, waiting for the perfect moment to strike.
The flock continues, but not as before. They know what it means when one of their own goes missing.
But not all hunts are successful. Somehow, the little one made it back.
In the savannah, survival lies with the flock.
But living side by side comes with tensions of its own.
Among the herds, peace hangs by a thread.
A single misplaced spit, and the tension slaps.
Showing weakness now isn't an option. This is a fight for respect within the group.
Eventually, the fight cools down. Who started it? No one remembers.
What matters is that peace, for the moment, has been restored.
Higher up in the food chain, another group has mastered the art of living together.
A village, built on rhythm and shared roles, where each villager plays a vital part.
And sometimes, in the middle of everyday life, something else takes root.
A spark grows between two, quiet, but strong enough to shape what comes next.
New life begins, and with it, hope for the future.
But life at the top draws attention.
The illoges are coming, and when they come, they come with force.
Nothing will stand in their way.
The savannah is a brutal place. But even here, life finds a way.
If you're lucky, you might live to enjoy another sunset.
Like this baby has.
Once again, lost on its own.
What else can we stumble upon in this The Great Wild?
