Am really sad about that Lewandowski chance I really wanted 5-0 😂
So it finishes Real Madrid 0 Barcelona 4. Let's get some post-match reaction now shall we?
I'm really happy to work for Barca and also to live in Barcelona. It's an amazing job and
for me it's a new part of my life and it feels really good.
Today we made a fantastic match and I'm proud about the team. How we play
was very important and so also this has to give the players more confidence like they have
already. But it's good to see and also they celebrate in the dressing room. It's really
good. We made one change and it was important that we showed them how we want to defend.
So a little bit different to bring more pressure on the ball. This was important
and also with the ball. You can see it in the second half that we had more ball control and
this is why the match has changed. I said it before, I'm really happy for the fans
because they deserved it and also like they support us in the last weeks. It was really
great. The connections again, the connections between the players, the team and also the
supporters and the club. It's really great and this helps a lot and I think now it's a good
feeling for everyone who's a Barca supporter. Has the system and the philosophy of Flick
has helped you to have this kind of performances right now? I think that all of us on the team,
when we are on the pitch, we know what we should do and everyone from us trying to play the best
football. We are going all together in one way and we know how to play defensive,
how to play offensive and that's why on the pitch sometimes we know when is the moment to do
this exactly what we want to do and in the end we know that if that job works well,
for us sometimes also it's much more easier to score the goals and to play defensive well.
Lovely, all well. Angelotti said he's going to join us in a moment to tell us what Angelotti
said in the press conference. Apparently he's 45 seconds away from the spot of the microphone.
What should we do during that time? He's happy living in Barcelona.
The weather's great, the team's playing great, everybody loves him and he's enjoying it,
his players are enjoying it. They've performed big time from today, this game
could have gone a different way early on like the Bayern game, it did not,
but isn't it great that you've got kids performing on a big stage and your big players
are performing in big moments. I mean from a coaching perspective it doesn't get much better
than that, particularly when you're missing some key players that your real big stars step up in
the moment when you need them and that's what the Barcelona players did today again. I think that
was like 45 seconds. Sidlo, is he there, is he ready? Oh what do you mean no? We were there,
it's all ready to go, what's happened? I'm a bit sick, he said not been where he should be
grumbling and moaning along. He's just run from the Carlo Ancelotti. It's probably going to mean
I'm going to have to sit through some more of these highlights whilst we wait on them. There's
only two more highlights to go, do you want to go to the highlights or do you want to wait? Let's
get them out the way, whatever they are. What are we going to do? Just silence, that's lovely.
