GENOA-NAPOLI 2-3 ｜ HIGHLIGHTS ｜ Hojlund Wins It with Last-Minute Penalty ｜ SERIE A 2025⧸26

Bonciorno's made a mistake, Vitegna's caught by Meret for what must be the earliest on-field review of this Serie A season. A booking for Meret but above all a penalty to Genua. Malinovsky to give Genua the perfect start, he does, straight down the middle from the Ukrainian. Elmas, clever vision, McTominay and there's Hoyland to follow it in. Napoli a level, Balo didn't get it to safety and Hoyland did what all good strikers do, gambled on the lost cause. Rahmani finds McTominay, he's got a way here, McTominay takes it on! Scott McTominay in a couple of first half minutes has turned this game around. McTominay's lost the ball, Malinovsky, terrific save from Meret. Another mistake from Bonciorno, Colombo's running away, Colombo! Bonciorno has played a part in both Genua goals but take nothing away from Lorenzo Colombo. Now Ecouban, too strong for Juan Jesus who's been booked and he might be off, he is! Napoli down to 10 at Marassi, Juan Jesus with a tactical foul having already been cautioned. Gutierrez, this is Vergara, he's gone down, there is contact, oh that is no doubt. Penalty to Napoli, Hoyland to win it, Balo unlucky, Hoyland with the rub of the green. A match featuring Genua has produced a five goal thriller and an added time winner, it is Napoli who come away with maximum points, it finishes at Marassi, Genua 2, Napoli 3.
