Hudson O'Neill, Blair Nodor,
ready to bring us to green off turn number four.
It is showtime on a Tuesday night at Volusia.
Green flag is out, we're gonna run three wide
for that second spot.
Ricky Thornton Jr. made it three wide.
He forced the issue there to the outside of the 19R,
to the inside of the 76.
71 to Hudson O'Neill, jump to the race lead.
He'll take that top spot on lap number one.
It'll be O'Neill.
Can he lead the opening lap?
He will.
Hudson O'Neill, your leader on lap number one.
Ryan Gustin, second.
Ricky Thornton Jr., third.
Cody Overton now to that fourth spot of the 97.
Blair Nodor into the top five.
Here comes Cody Overton.
Cody Overton quickly down around the bottom in that 97.
He'll work to the inside of the 20RT.
He'll take third now to the inside of the 19R.
How about Cody Overton and Ryan Gustin side by side
give peak two to the 97?
Outside of the top five again,
it'll be Brandon Shepard, six.
Nick Hoffman has gone by Chris Madden.
Now gonna go to the inside of B-Shep.
How about Hoffman?
Nick Hoffman, we knew his car was good.
He's gonna work to the inside of Shepard.
Try to take another spot.
Thornton will take third.
Ricky Thornton Jr. by Ryan Gustin.
Gustin has gone to the top.
Everybody migrating to the bottom.
Let's see if we get a few of them to roll up there.
Gustin and Shepard out there.
Tim McGrady, Ryan Gustin, Ricky Thornton Jr.
Best battle out there right now.
It's for the third, fourth, and fifth spot.
Sixth is Hoffman.
Seventh is Shepard.
Chris Madden, Devin Moran, and Blair Nodor
into the top 10, but the caution's out.
Max Blair's 111 car
will bring us under caution here on lap number eight.
Green flag back out.
Good restart for all three of the top three.
Hudson O'Neill up the hill.
Does that open the door for Cody Overton
down around the bottom?
Nope.
Ricky Thornton Jr. able to go back by him.
Again, it'll be the 71.
Hudson O'Neill, the 20 of Ricky Thornton Jr.
in a side-by-side battle now for third.
Down the front straightaway.
Ryan Gustin using that middle groove.
Here comes the Reaper.
Ryan Gustin in the third spot of the 19.
Gustin and Overton side-by-side.
Overton able to take it back for the moment.
Gustin again gonna try to pedal
around the outside of the 19R.
Fifth continues to be the nine.
Tim McCready, Brandon Shepard is sixth.
Devin Moran now to the outside of Nick Hoffman.
They'll run side-by-side for position.
Down the front straightaway.
Hoffman will hang on to it in nine.
10 scored.
Contact between second and third.
Overton up the hill.
Got into the nose of the 20RT of Thornton.
That's gonna allow the 19R to race by,
as Ryan Gustin is on the rear deck lid
of the 97 of Overton.
He might've just thrown a little bit of an elbow.
Here comes the 19R.
Gustin threw it in there deeper than he had,
but he got to the inside of Overton.
And Overton hit that strip
right in the middle of turn number one.
Was able to power back by to the runner-up spot.
O'Neal down the back straightaway.
Still 1.3 seconds out there.
He'll not have to deal with traffic.
So we work into turn number three and out of turn four
is fourth feature win of the year.
Hudson O'Neal wins on Tuesday night here at Volusia.
All the accolades that go with winning
the regular car nationals.
Amen, he's out of the car.
How about it?
Hudson O'Neal in 71.
It's so awesome to be able to get back in the 71 car
and come down straight out of, you know,
a fresh start to speed weeks
and be able to get us a win on the second night
is pretty awesome.
And had a good race car last night,
just got set behind early.
And yeah, man, thank you so much to Todd and Vicky Burns
and SSI Motorsports and everything that they've done for me
as well as my guys, Jason, Kyle, Riley, Logan,
my wife, Tessa, and everybody that's a part of it.
We have such an amazing group of people here
with us this week.
And it's just really cool to be here
and to be up on this front straightaway.
Yeah, absolutely.
We knew that it was going to be a little bit of a tire game
and we were lucky to be able to get out
to the lead there early.
And then it started to,
started to line up down here in one and two, especially.
And we were just lucky to have good track position
and wouldn't be possible without all my guys.
Without all of our great sponsors,
Wheeler Metals, Merrill Bonding Company,
Professional Concrete Cutting and Drilling,
O'Neill Savage and Recycling, USSSA Fast Pitch,
Penske Racing Shocks, Lucas Oil, O'Neill Contracting,
Big River Steel, Snoka Race Fuels,
and Seven Spurs Ranch here with us this week
and everybody back at home.
And we look forward to the rest of the week.
