Hey there welcome to my place for Valentine's Day Today I'm going to be adding some simple swee
and romantic accents throughout my living room and entryway for the season and I’m so thrilled
to be sharing it here with you I hope you enjoy decorating along with me I decided to star
with my mantle I just want to keep this space understated this year If you've seen my
recent Valentine's Day shopping video you know I found these great art prints at Hobby Lobby
recently I think they're the perfect touch here for February and even for spring these would
They should be truly beautiful or consistently so throughout the year if that's your style—I really want them to stand out
on the mantel so I'm just adding
a few fake roses and a small heart-shaped wreath and that's all
I'm also adding my favorite slightly frayed satin ribbon to my lanterns around the fireplace
Just tie a simple bow and I think that's a wonderful way to refresh your decor with each season
It's so effortless and I truly love the feminine flair it adds especially for holidays like
Valentine's Day I picked up all this ribbon in various colors from Amazon so I’ll make sure to include the link
below Usually in videos like this when I show my lanterns I also get asked where did I get them
These lanterns around the fireplace Unfortunately I found them at a local store a long time ago They were
extremely unique and I don't have a strong reference for them anymore—I did once have a link to something
Same here but unfortunately I think that item has already sold so I'm sorry I don't have a resource for it
I always appreciate you all asking about and admiring
these If I ever come across something similar I’ll be sure to share it
I'm putting together several faux floral arrangements for this space today and I'll
essentially be using the same technique with each one When I'm making a large arrangeme
like this I think it's easiest to start with a bundle of faux florals as your base I'm using
my favorite off-white cabbage roses from Hobby Lobby and then I'm just filling
with stems I found on Amazon If you're interested I actually have a video all about it
faux floral arrangements on my channel along with even more great
tips like this one so I’ll be sure to link that video below
I've had these little pink mailboxes for a few years now—they were a Target Dollar Spot find
and I just love incorporating them into my decor with a few faux florals and some sweet touches
greeting cards tucked inside I think adding greeting cards into your vignettes is such a
great inexpensive way to decorate and it feels especially meaningful for Valentine's Day since
Cards themselves play a significant role in the sentiment of this holiday so I truly enjoy using them
You know I always love having a theme for each season and holiday—it helps spark ideas gives
me a sense of direction when I start decorating and also makes the process more enjoyable
much more fun I’m especially drawn to using my grandfather’s vintage book collection
each and every season I just love having his books out and woven throughout the house
and I thought displaying them here on the entry table right as you walk in alongside some
beautiful roses and a few framed family photos of loved ones which I still need to print by the way
would create such a warm and personal welcome I'm calling this year's theme a love story
because to me Valentine's Day is not just about romance it's about celebrating the people and
moments that truly shape our lives and mean so much to us—showing love of course to
ot only our sweethearts but also our family our friends and even our pets whom we care for so deeply
