Mol A Sørum C vs Rotar Gauthier Rat Pool Play Highlights Hamburg 2025 BeachProTour

To the Volleyball World Beach Pro Tour Elite out here in Hamburg, Germany. But they're still searching for some elite success. This is actually the second main draw in the week they have had this entire season. Their first in Stade didn't go that well, came out of the qualifier, didn't break pool. Now they're already assured of breaking pool here in Hamburg. Humongous swing from Theo Rotar, my goodness. Easy does it. He was so smooth. And Rotar bringing the heat. Taking a little off now. And Moll trying to bring smoke of his own, buried it into the bottom of the net. And I think he's going to be searching for on twos a little bit more frequently as well. Opportunity here for France. And there's Rotar with a clean put away and transition. Christian just has to have a laugh at it. Beautiful. Beautiful. Beautifully done from Christian Sorum. No such time off is taken. They look gripped. Well seen, well placed. Far from a done deal. Sorum sizzling into the angle. Gautier can't quite get to the baby line of Anders Moll. Anders not signaling the preference either way, so they'll stick on Rotar. And Rotar continues. Side now well. Whatever Gautier's first serve receive of the day is perfect enough for Rotar to get a sliding set point number two. Coming in from Norway, leading France 20-14. Rotar bringing the heat. And indeed heat is brought, and Moll bringing heat in return. Saying, I see you're on two, Mr. Rotar. I'm bringing it right back at you. 21-14 opening set. That's a huge jump serve from Rotar. And then look at Moll. No doubt at all. Sorum just stops approaching. The 12-3 run to kick it off, but after that it was virtually all square. We'll see if France can sustain that momentum. Rotar, perfect. High, deep swing. Nice slap down the seam there from Sorum. A lot of heat on that serve from Gautier. And Sorum, just smooth and calm as ever. First jump set of the day. Moll not fooled, and the on two lefty from Moll is good. Soft touch into the angle from Sorum. Moll going high, deep seam of his own. Of offense right now. From the big blocker. Moll hitting that line right into Gautier's waiting. Tomahawk, and the block in transition. Away from that chicken wing dig of Sorum. Wow. My goodness. Against Thomas Hodges and Zach Schubert. Now he does it here against France. What a serve. And Moll, someone's in the net. Like the pull from Rotar, like the shot from Sorum better. Here he's going with a float. Nice fast snap down the line from Sorum. Rotar leaving just a little bit early. Gautier, a lot of heat into that deep angle. Just a crispy, crispy, crispy high line. Angle block here on Gautier. He sees it all. Shoots it perfectly. Sending one at Moll. Hasn't received a serve in a while. What a turn from Rotar. Rotar for the set. And he's got it. What a recovery from France. What an awesome turn that is from Rotar. And then that little look, and he's still, can you do it again? Rotar. Gautier, he's all over it. Sorum just camping in the deep seam. And camping for the cover. Oh, you're kidding. Huge block from Anders Moll. Massive swing from Anders. Lovely, lovely touch there from Sorum. And a good break on that. As I just said, we might not see another short line from Christian Sorum. Gautier, perfect dig. And Moll with a perfect block in transition. Sorum, cut shot wide. What a shot from Sorum. And Anders Moll gets the shooter's touch. Perfect swing. Sorum trying to unload. Gets the kill, double fist pump there from Sorum. A little trouble here for France. Gautier, can he make a set? Yes, he cannot just make the set. Wicked float from Rotar. Trouble here for Sorum. Gautier, huge chance in transition. And he's got it. He finds the line on the high line. As France takes a late lead. Sorum, high and off the hands of Rotar. Rotar, from Theo Rotar is coming. Will Moll guess the same? And he was going for the deep seam. He doesn't have it. And so Rotar, furious with himself. He's come close to beating Norway before. Came close at the 2023 European Championships with Arthur Canet. Went to three then, didn't win. Goes to three now in the first meeting.
