Expeditions at Eglon have really taught me how to challenge myself and to persevere.
One of the first things that will take your breath away when you visit Eglon College
is the view. This includes the majestic profile of Don Dumidi.
I have decided to do Don Dumidi because it is one of the most challenging expeditions
offered by Eglon and I wanted to go beyond my limit and to push myself.
I know this is my last year in Eglon so I really want to take this opportunity
to spend time with all of my friends and just enjoy the expedition.
One of the most unique experiences in Eglon.
The centrepiece of the Eglon Skyline Award. Inspiring students to progress towards its
summit. Climbing the mountain requires resilience, skill and a collaborative team effort.
Not to mention a stroke of good luck with the conditions.
The ascent takes two days with students climbing for up to 12 hours on technical terrain on summit
day. At the top I feel like we're all going to feel success. The definition of success is a
feeling of satisfaction after hard work and determination and I think this expedition
defines hard work and determination for the challenges we're going to face.
So I think we're all going to feel that moment. Amazing!
So glad I made it. Very worth it. It is more than just a climb.
It is a journey that fully embodies the character of Eglon.
