Hey everyone, it's Lisa from Primitive Gatherings and I finally get the chance
to unbox our limited edition holiday box. Now this box was a one-time purchase
that you're able to get through Primitive Gatherings and I think we will have a couple
limited edition boxes this year that you can participate. So look for those.
So first off, how beautiful is this box? Our graphic designer Terry did a fabulous job
of making it pretty and then at the last minute I decided why not put something on the back
because it was just this blank surface here. So we just put a little believe pattern on here
as an extra little bonus surprise. So you can make that into a pillow or a little wall hanging
or an ornament. There's just something fun and extra to do. All right, so now is the time. So
just so you know, we spend a lot of time figuring out what to put in this box and we try to put
something in here as a gift to you, not necessarily holiday items. So it is an everyday box. It's like
a gift to yourself or that somebody can get you that they know you want. Jeter is visiting us.
We forgot to sequester the dog. It's okay. All right, so we give you a little paper saying,
hey, we appreciate you. Thank you for buying our box. And right on top is the biggest kit
in the box and it is a wool quilt. It is called Cottage Garden. It is 32 by 32
and it is in the plastic wrap here. So I'll let Kaylee zoom in on it, but I will be showing you
the real quilt. So don't get too nervous about not getting a good view of this.
Next up, the second project that I have designed for you is called Old Friends Table Mat. And it's
just a simple penny mat done with a hexi base. So each one of those circles is in a hex. And again,
I will show you that close up in a minute. So those are the two big stitching projects that we
have. The rest of the box are single items. So a beautiful wool bundle. We can never have enough
wool. A tin that Moda designed with a mini charm of redwork gatherings in there. So we specifically
save those for you. A cute little project bag or makeup bag or whatever you need this for,
but it's really cool. It's got a really neat zipper pull on it. So you will love that. We
can never have enough bags. And speaking of bags, this huge tote that says primitive gatherings.
And then last but not least, almost most important, we gave you six of our famous caramels
that we get from Vandewalls. So good. So good. All right. So that is all the items in the box.
And now, just give me one second. Okay. So first up,
we have the old friends table mat. So there it is. And you will get scrappy colors,
all those different size pennies to go on there. And I just wanted to show you how versatile this
is. That it's going to be so fun to make that I think you're going to want to make
like another version. So I made two versions. And this will look really nice in the lake house here.
So I just wanted to give you a peek. This is the one that you're going to have in your kit,
because we think this goes with everything. And then, like I said, just another little option
for you to give you a couple more ideas. And then this is all just fly stitched all around the hex.
We're going to really improve your stitching. Now, this quilt cottage garden, I think,
is fabulously done. So wool applique, scrappy, easy. I did this as one piece of fabric. I could
have done the block as a square and then added borders. But it's just as easy, I think, to stitch
it and lay it down all at one time. So I hope that you really love this. I can't imagine that this
doesn't appeal to everyone. And look at the amazing job that the guys at Primitive Gatherings
did on this project. So if I were you, I would be giving Luke and Jake and Tyler a call and saying,
hey, get me on the list. I want to get mine quilted just like this, because this is fantastic.
I want to show you the back as well. We always put a sleeve on the back of our quilts because
they will hang in the shop or at home. But how fun is that? All right. So that's our unboxing
of our holiday box. I appreciate all your business and all your support of Primitive Gatherings.
And I just want to wish you the best. Bye now.
