Welcome to Resin with Mira. Today I'll be teaching you how to make resin keychains.
Resin keychains are a fun and customizable craft. You can embed various items like
dried flowers, glitter, or even sand to make unique designs. Let's get started.
To start, you will need epoxy resin and a hardener, typically sold as a two-part kit.
You'll also need silicone molds, like these letter or rectangle shapes, depending on your
So first, measure your resin into a ratio of 1 to 1. Now mix them for about 5 minutes.
You can also add some glitter or resin dye, which is completely optional.
Also remember to wear gloves so the resin doesn't irritate your skin.
Then pour a bit of resin into your mold. Don't fill it up though.
Once you've done that, add anything you want on it, like if you want flowers,
use tweezers to place them, and a toothpick to press it down a bit.
Now you can start adding your second layer of resin on top. If the flowers start to come up,
just press them down with a toothpick. Once you've filled your mold, leave it to dry.
It should dry in 24 hours, but if it takes 48, that's completely normal.
