Introducing my 2022 BMW 750 GS and this years road trip plans!
Hello, welcome to my channel. A few weeks ago I bought a new motorcycle and I just wanted to show
it. It's the BMW 750 GS. The last bike that I had was the Yamaha MT-10 and I wanted a touring bike
this time but with the same sort of features or the same like level of performance. It took me
almost a year to find the right motorcycle for me and I finally found it. The last owner
wanted to get rid of it really quickly and so I was really lucky with the price. I got
like a really good deal for it. The last owner named her Black Beauty and
wanted me to keep that name so that's what I'm doing. It doesn't really have that many extra
features. Crash bar, I just put in that thing for the wind and this one
before I started riding today and it has the box on the back but that's basically it.
Another thing I forgot to mention is that it actually came with a cradle. I can put my phone
here and then connect it to the Bluetooth and have the app like the BMW app where I can save my rides
or plan my rides which was really cool. I was a bit afraid that it would like not sit well and
fall off but it actually holds my phone really well so but I'm not going to use it today. I'll
use it if I need to if I'm going to plan my rides or something like that like otherwise
there's no need to use it I think. I know this thing is crooked. I just put it on and
yeah I'm gonna fix it. What I was looking for in a bike was just an adventure bike in
like a specific price range. I didn't want to get a too expensive bike because I had my old MT-10
which was really expensive and it was just expensive to own like the insurance and everything
and so I wanted just a cheaper bike to own and I didn't want to pay that much up front either.
I didn't want it to be too expensive.
I did go over budget with this one a little bit but it was so worth it because I originally wanted
one that was a bit older that I found like 2019 or 2017 I found one but this one's
actually 2022 which means that it has the TFT screen like the new this like really high tech
screen and with all this like stuff and if I had bought if I had gotten the old bike it would just
have been like an analog clock. That was literally my neighbor. I swear that was my neighbor.
It's so funny. Yeah if I press up on this menu tab then I can see how much gas I have,
how much total kilometers on the bike, how much air is in the tires and if I want to press down
then I have all these like different menus that I can turn with this wheel.
I can have the navigation here and my music if I want, my phone, my settings.
Come on. I don't know why it's not giving me the settings but it might be because I'm not
standing still but either way you can check like all the information on the bike here and I didn't
realize that this would be so good. I would say compared to the Yamaha MT-10 this one's obviously
not as smooth. The MT-10 was like four-cylinder cross-plane motor and I don't know if you can get
any smoother feeling engine than that. I don't know why this guy is driving so slow. Yeah sorry.
But I do have to say if you change gear like when you change gear on this bike
you have to press really hard otherwise it's not going to change.
What I can tell this is the best combination bike. You can have different modes and you can
it feels like a mix of an enduro bike and a naked bike. That's how I feel at least.
I can even like while I'm riding I can change the mode. You can see it says up there
road and if I change the mode I can change it to dynamic, enduro, rain and road and so
if it's raining I can use the rain mode and etc and I would like to drive some more gravel roads
and with the enduro mode I can do that but I wanted to buy this bike because I wanted to do more
long rides and more adventures. I have driven like basically every single road in this area
of Sweden where I live and so it would be fun to explore some other places and the furthest I've
been is Germany which isn't that far and so in August it's actually planned a road
a road trip through like the southern part of Norway like through through the country to the
um and going up along the coast and then making our way back sort of. That's the plan and I'm
going to film the whole thing. I'm really excited about it. I'm going to wait for the cars to go a
bit. There's this one turn over here when I had my old bike like my first bike. This is my fourth
bike and when I had my first bike I would come to this turn and then just like do this turn as
quickly as I could. Yeah and we would just turn here and then go back and do the same thing.
Sounds kind of nerdy but yeah it was fun. There on the other side of the ocean is Denmark.
Well this is me. Thanks for joining me on this short ride today. See you next time!
