Hi pretties! Welcome back to this channel. Today, let's talk about something a bit more big sisterly.
Okay, so I'm getting ready for it, so let's talk about it. Why do girls get periods? Let's get
started. Here's the introduction. Have you ever seen your mom, aunt, or any other girl look painful
but you can't find any injuries or scratches on their body? This video will reveal the answer,
so keep watching if you want to know. Okay, so what are periods? Periods,
also known as the menstrual cycle, are the time in a girl's life when their uterus
naturally releases blood out of their body through their genitals. However,
the main question is why does it happen? As we all know, during puberty, our body begins to
experience many sorts of changes, e.g. getting acne, changing voice, body hair, dot dot dot,
etc. This is the body's way of informing you that you are leaving childhood and approaching
adulthood for reproduction. As a part of this natural grow-up process,
somewhere between the age of 8 to 15, I'm 11 by the way, the girls start to feel a
major transformation in their ovaries that begins to release a hormone called estrogen
to help them prepare for reproduction. Let's get into the details. You see the two ovaries
here in the female's body contain thousands of tiny sacs called the follicles that each contain
one unfertilized egg that in a process called ovulation, the most mature egg from one of the
ovaries bursts out of the follicle. After that, it moves along the fallopian tube and reaches
the uterus. There, this egg then embeds itself on the endometrium lining in the process called
implantation. However, since this egg can't be turned into a baby,
the endometrium lining full of blood and nutrients doesn't feel the need to supply
the resources to this unfertilized egg. So in the next 5 to 7 days, the girl's body starts to get
rid of this unwanted thing by breaking down the thick endometrium lining of the uterus into
smaller tissues. After that, expels it out along with some blood via the channel to open the yaw
just so the process can restart and set the path for the continuance of the human race.
Now we know what happens to a girl's body during that period.
So girlfriends, a period is an entirely natural process and there's nothing impure, disgusting,
or embarrassing about it. Additionally, females who go through the process generally experience
pain that can last up to 5 whole days. Therefore, if you see any of your girlies bleeding and going
through this monthly cycle of pain, understand them, be sympathetic, and if possible, help them
by providing them with sanitary pads, pain relievers, and take them to the comfort of their
homes. Thank you for your attention and just so you know, this girlie is going through that process
Heart, red heart. Usually I use pink hearts or like clear hearts with that black lining
but since it's period, you release blood via the genital opening, it should be a red heart.
Okay, so thank you for watching pretties and hope you've enjoyed this video, found this video
interesting and educational. Bye-bye and we'll see you next time in our next video.
