I'm Paul Browning, wildlife photographer from Surrey in England.
Most of my life is spent outdoors chasing the light,
following the seasons and waiting for those special moments
when nature reveals something extraordinary.
I'm very lucky today to be trying out the brand new Sony
A75 in these beautiful colours of the English countryside.
This is a camera built for real conditions, for those moments you can't
predict because out here every second counts.
The light can fade fast, the weather can turn quickly,
but the wildlife will never wait for you.
Autumn has always been one of my favourite times of year. The light can
change by the hour and the colours change daily. It's the
season that teaches you to adapt, to learn the landscape and to be ready
for the unexpected. The A75 has not let me down with the
autofocus. I'm tracking birds moving behind
trees, in and out of bushes and it's staying locked on even when the bird
comes out the other side. Coupled with the 30 frames per second
burst, it's absolutely superb. I'm getting some
amazing photos with this camera. The pinnacle of features for wildlife
photography is pre-capture. I can set the camera
to pre-capture one second of my burst, so that's faster than my brain can react
and I'm not going to miss a frame of action.
Out here I'm not just photographing nature, I feel like I'm a part of it
and that's what keeps me coming back day after day,
year after year.
