In my hands is a brand new antigravity A1 8K 360 degree drone.
Now this drone isn't quite out yet,
but I got a little preview of it to show you.
Now antigravity is an all new company
incubated by the Insta360 company.
I think you guys are all familiar with their cameras,
their Insta360 software.
So this is very similar to that,
but they're creating this all new category
for their 360 drones.
The first time that I tried this, it actually blew my mind.
It was unlike anything that I've ever experienced.
It's kind of like a hybrid FPV with traditional drone flying,
but with a 360 camera attached.
So when you have the headset on,
you're getting an entire 360 view
of everything that the drone is seeing,
which is really fun because in post,
you don't have to worry if you're flying
in the right direction getting the shot
because it's getting the shot everywhere.
Now this video is just a first look
because this drone won't be out for another few months.
So I cannot wait to show you the final product,
but this one is nearing the final production model.
So I'll show it to you here.
So this is under 250 grams.
So you won't need to get a license
or get registered to use it.
Now it folds out much like most other drones
that you're familiar with,
but what's different is there's no gimbal hanging down.
These here are the cameras on the bottom and on the top.
These are front sensors and some bottom sensors.
You've got SD card slot, USB-C, and here's the battery.
They have two different batteries.
There is a higher capacity battery
that is a little bit heavier,
and that will make the drone weigh over 250 grams.
But right now I have the light one in.
Something else that is cool to protect this bottom lens
when you turn it on, the little feet come out.
So cute.
So here's the headset.
Now the cool thing about this is one of these
is actually an LCD.
It'll display what I'm seeing inside of the headset
so that anyone else around me
can actually see what I'm seeing.
This will also act as a touchscreen.
So you'll be able to make selections
while you're inside of the headset.
These dials allow you to adjust the eye width.
So you'll make sure that you can see really well.
And of course we've got our antennas.
Look how cute they are.
And here's the battery.
So this connects to the headset.
There's a cable that will connect to the battery,
to the headset so you can wear this while you're flying.
And I also like that they do have three batteries
with this triple battery charger.
And this makes it really easy to charge them
when you're on the go or you're at home.
Now to fly this is a little bit different
than a traditional drone.
You do have a motion controller,
but what makes this kind of interesting
is you kind of have like a cursor
when you're inside of the headset
and you just point to where you wanna go
so you can see the cursor.
You can look around while you're inside of the headset.
You point, pull the trigger and you go.
You point down, you point up,
wherever you're pointing this, it'll take you to.
It really does feel like a real life video game.
The first time that I tried it,
it confused my brain because it didn't seem
like this was something that was real.
This felt like I had on a headset
and I was playing a virtual reality game.
But then I looked down and I was like, I can see myself.
It was a real wild out of body experience.
Is it close to me?
All right, we're going up guys.
We're flying right now.
I'm going over the water.
When I'm moving my head around,
that's not directing me where I'm going.
Oh, whoa.
I thought I should see my feet, but I don't.
I just see water.
Oh, it's so wild.
Everywhere I look, I can just see everything.
This feels like a video game.
This doesn't feel like it should be real.
Gosh, it's so fun.
It's just such a different way of flying
than I've ever flown before.
It's also very easy, which I'm so surprised about
because you see these motion controllers
and it kind of feels like it should be difficult,
but it's really not.
I can see myself.
What's cool is when I move this around,
you can see the drone is spinning in that direction.
It's fast, zippy, zippy.
Now I can do that with the motion controller
or I can use this little joystick here, the little dial,
and I can also do that same effect.
And then as soon as I hit this trigger,
point it up, off we go.
And wherever I point this, that's where it goes.
I cannot wait for this final version
because there's so many features
that this doesn't have activated yet.
I cannot wait to fully play with this.
It's gonna be so much fun.
The flight was a success.
This is so much fun.
I cannot wait to show you guys more.
Let me know what you guys think in the description below
and I'll give you a link where you can check out
and learn more about it.
Antigravity A1, yep, I'm a fan.
