Maiden day of the amazing new B2 jet from Motion RC.
Alright, here we go.
Do I need to go back down there?
Yeah, just shift it again.
Here we go. This is going to be our third flight on the B-2.
Wind is shifting. It's a beautiful day in Jacksonville, Florida.
Chief Mechanic Alex, who has Alex Magic Johnson.
Am I good from here?
No, you need some throttle. Now it's shifted again.
We're going to sit here and discuss wind veins for an hour.
Now it's coming. It's shifted again.
Yeah, dedication of our Chief Crew Mechanic Alex Magic Johnson.
Alright, good man.
Navy team, Navy pride.
That's right, amen.
It's not a helicopter.
Hoorah. Isn't that what they say in the Navy?
You'll get the controls and fly.
Right to left.
The timer's on four minutes. It'll easily go five.
Dedicated to Norm Sapp.
Pass down the runway here.
Some bird action.
Really flies like just a big jet trainer.
No bad tendencies. The gyro setup is phenomenal.
Hats off to Alpha and everybody involved at MotionRC.
Nice low pass.
Michael's excited. His big free wing.
The new private jet.
I don't know the model name.
We'll be here Tuesday.
We'll be flying these together.
I'm not zooming a lot just so we can keep focus.
Just on a perfectly cloudless day like this,
a gray airplane will just be very difficult to focus up close.
Like that.
I have no idea if that's in any type of focus or not. Probably not.
Doing great.
It's probably time to land.
Oh, you're good then.
I won't call it safe anymore.
I don't want to be offensive to anybody.
Nice.
The auto-stabilization bank limiting works well.
It's not something you can fly around in like safe, though.
It's very limited.
But it'll right you if you're wronged.
So it will get you out of some trouble.
But with this gentle giant, you should rarely get in trouble.
Hopefully he's going to think about landing.
We're on a 6,000 milliamp.
Last flight was 4.5 minutes.
We had 39% when we landed.
First flight I was on throttle most of the time.
We went 5.5 minutes, and I only had 9% left, which was not good.
Here we go.
Michael's first landing of the B-2 Spirit.
He's a little nervous, but he's going to get her done.
Handles the grass just fine.
Don't know that I'd want to take off in the grass.
But it does a perfect landing in the grass.
Pilot Michael, well done.
Thoughts? What are your first impressions?
Grass was fine.
What do you think? How's she fly?
Good.
Yeah?
Pretty smooth?
Kind of hard to see with this blue sky, though.
I saw what you were talking about.
Especially right as you start to bank for the turn.
The turn you've got to commit to.
Yeah, but otherwise it's pretty easy to see because of the size.
All right, man. Well, well done.
I was talking about your jet you have coming in next week.
The X-Fly J-65.
Nice. All right.
Just like that.
All right. DW Productions out. Good job, everybody.
We have flight number two on the new twin 70-millimeter three-wing B-2 Spirit bomber.
Jax RC. Perfect day.
Michael's turning off our beautiful new $50,000 Club mower.
You know, I think next time I won't be dressed in black next time I do this.
Not a good idea.
A little hot?
A little hot.
Cooking?
But we're doing good.
Your face is purple.
All right, here we go.
First flight, we had a crisis.
We tried to take off in safe mode because I mixed my switches up.
Alex fixed it.
Thank goodness because he's a genius.
First flight was perfect.
I got to move the timer to four minutes.
Hold on real quick.
We flew five and a half minutes.
Only had 9% left.
So we're going to try not to make that same mistake.
Let's do a very quick timer change to four minutes.
All right.
And we are ready.
Got lots of expo.
And she flies just like a big wing.
Better than expected.
First flight, we got into crosswind.
It's only about five miles an hour.
So we're not into any good wind.
So it's taking a little real estate to take off.
Other than that, all is good and we are off.
That was better with a little more speed rather than that crosswind.
Zero.
Mm-hmm.
Do it again.
And it blows like a cake.
Yeah, right and left.
Yeah, right.
So we're going to land right below.
That's okay.
We're going to do a grass landing.
Well, I cut some of that.
All right.
Yep.
It was nice enough to cut that.
I think grass ops are going to be pretty good on this model.
It's handling a little bumpy field.
Definitely not bad on the grass.
All right.
Good job, everybody.
Thanks, team.
