Hi everyone! The day is finally here, today I will be sharing how I decorate some of my recent purchases. I have been wanting to update this living room for a while so I decided to do a little living room refresh. There is lots of decorating in todays video. I will be styling my shelves, my coffee table, my sectional, as well as a new facebook marketplace find. I hope you all enjoy!
Hello everyone and welcome back to my channel and if you're new here welcome my name is Evelyn.
So like I promised today's video is a decorate with me.
We are going to be decorating my living room and styling all my new pieces.
I switched out my curtains.
You will be seeing some shelf styling, some coffee table styling,
and just styling all my new pieces that I have shared in my previous hauls.
So if you did miss those I will be linking them down below
so that you guys can see the new pieces that I have recently picked up.
So I'm hoping you get lots of inspiration in today's video.
I haven't decorated in a while so I'm very excited to share this video with you guys.
I also got a new Facebook marketplace find that I have been waiting to share with you guys
so I am going to be styling that in today's video as well.
So without further ado let's get started.
Starting off with the living room.
I'm still trying to figure this space out.
I eventually want to do a complete makeover in here
but for now I wanted to do a few updates and give it a little refresh.
So the first thing that I did was switch out my curtains.
The ones that I had in here before were from Amazon
and I had two extra panels from Two Pages from when I did my bedroom makeover
so I decided to hang them in here.
They definitely brightened the room more and made it feel a little bit more elevated.
Now moving on to my shelves.
I'm going to be placing these two baskets that I got from HomeGoods.
In one of them I keep all my chargers that I typically reach for
and then in the other basket I keep all my remotes.
On the next shelf I placed two books standing up
and then this beautiful vase that I got from Etsy.
It has been one of my favorites.
Inside the vase I'm going to be placing two white berry bush stems that I got from At Home.
These have been so fun to style with.
I also love that they're very affordable.
I believe they are $3.99 so such a great price and I did use two for this vase.
Right next to that I'm placing this frame that I got from HomeGoods
and then to finish it all off I'm going to be placing this book
and topping it off with these beautiful bells.
These are from Luxpico and I did purchase them on Etsy.
They are such a great dupe to the Amber Interior's bells.
On the next shelf I'm going to be placing this paper mache bowl.
This is from Olive Atelier and I have been wanting to do a stacked look
so I'm going to be placing something inside the bowl so that then my next bowl sits a little higher.
This next bowl is also from Olive Atelier.
Next to that I'm placing two more books and then this beautiful frame that I got from Zara Home.
I love that it had a linen backing so what I did was get a little picture that I got from Etsy.
This is one that I already had.
I just cut it to be a little square and then I just taped it onto the backing
kind of giving it a look like it has a linen mat and I love how it looks.
And last but not least, on that shelf I'm going to be placing this candlestick holder
that I got from Hobby Lobby and then this candlestick that I also got from Zara Home.
Now for the last shelf, I like to keep things very minimal
so I'm placing this vase that I got from Etsy last year.
Now moving on to the other side, I'm placing these two baskets that I got from Target.
I love that they had a very similar look to the ones from Home Goods.
They were very similar in color so I placed those two at the bottom
just to keep things very symmetrical.
Now moving on to the next shelf.
I always have such a hard time styling the second set of shelves
because I use all my favorite pieces on one side
so I'm left with everything that I didn't use for the other side.
So I have such a hard time.
For this shelf, I'm going to be placing some coffee table books standing up straight
as well as one laying horizontally.
I topped it off with these beautiful candles that I got from Amazon
and then also this bowl that I got from Magnolia Home.
On the third shelf, I'm placing this vase that I got from Etsy
and placing these asparagus bush stems that I got from Hobby Lobby.
These are so pretty.
They look very high-end and also very affordable.
Right next to that, I'm placing this frame that I got from Home Goods
and the print is from Etsy.
I'm also going to be placing two more coffee table books
and then topping it off with this candlestick holder that I got from At Home.
On the last shelf, I'm going to be placing two vases that I got from Home Goods.
Moving on to my coffee table.
This coffee table is from Ashley's Furniture.
I started off by placing my new French vase on it
and I added those same stems from At Home.
I believe I used three stems in this vase.
Next to that, I'm using this scallop tray from Amazon
placing a book inside and topping it off with a candle.
I also opened up another book to then place right next to that
and then finished it all off with two more coffee table books
and these beautiful candlestick holders that I got from Zara Home.
For my sectional, I'm going to be using my new pillow covers
that were sent to me from Hackner Home.
These are absolutely beautiful.
The quality is amazing.
I am so happy with them.
And a new little update to my living room is this chair.
This chair is from Cheetah.
I love the look of it.
I love the fabric.
I believe it's linen.
So I just styled it with a fiddle blanket
and a little lumbar pillow that are both from Target
and that completes the living room.
Another home update is this new Facebook Marketplace find.
This is a vintage dresser that I found on Facebook Marketplace.
I fell in love with it as soon as I saw it,
so I decided to buy a mirror for it.
You might recognize this mirror from Target.
It is beautiful.
I love the shape of it.
And to style the dresser, I placed this lamp
that was actually a gift from my husband.
It is an investment, but it is so worth it.
Next to that, I placed this vase from Etsy
and those same stems from At Home,
but this time in a yellow color.
And then to finish it all off, I placed a book
and topped it off with this candle snuffer from At Home.
All right, you guys.
That concludes today's video.
I really hope you guys enjoyed and got lots of inspiration.
I love sharing how I decorate my space,
so I hope you guys got lots of ideas
on how you can style your shelves,
your coffee table, your sectional.
I will be linking everything that I used
down below in the description box,
and if I don't have the exact same link,
I will be linking something similar.
Anyways, I appreciate all of you so much for being here.
Thank you so much for watching,
and until next time, bye.
