Tyrell Hatton is off the tee at three. Beautiful start there at the very long par three.
A little under 200 yards today. To the third, a second shot here for Wako Niemann.
Short side bunker shot from Niemann, not a problem.
Mark Leishman's third shot at four. That is not a great start for John Rahm.
Sorry guys. Yeah, in this case, David, I'm not sure if having the crowds there actually helped
them. It was actually behind a guy's foot and who knows if they weren't there, if it maybe
would have bounced in a different direction, but that's golf. He couldn't have hoped for much
better than that. Oh, and it hit the tree first. Bryson. Oh, that's going to come back to him.
I mean, coming with just a wedge into this first green, you can't go down there. You know it.
Take two. And then the knee-jerk reaction is to hit it way back.
Oh boy, that's a four. Could he be more Bryson DeChambeau?
So hard not to hit that one 20 feet past and he just played the perfect shot. Back to the
first green and a par putt for John Rahm. Hit a very nice putt. Oh, so it's a chip-in save for Bryson
for par at the first and a drop shot for our overnight leader John Rahm.
Brandon Grace on the third tee. Oh, that's a nice bounce. He's a gutsy player, Brandon Grace. When
he gets up there, he doesn't let go that easily. He had a tied fourth finish in Andalusia last
year that saved him from relegation and he's played six tournaments worldwide since then
and only finished outside the top 10 once. He was ninth in Riyadh last week. This looks good, David.
It's on a good line. Oh, fabulous shot there from Neyman. Munoz on the fourth has laid up.
Wedge shot in. Oh, what a bounce off the shoulder of the bunker. Probably landed that a bit short
that he wanted, but it's still good. Now Pete Urein has driven it just short of the green on four.
I will have some zip. Oh, oh no, not against the flagstick. Par 5, seventh. Cam Smith.
Oh, that's so good from down there.
Elvis Smiley up to 14. The Ripper GC hole. Oh, wow. Do you think his popularity has gone up
the last couple of days, David? Yeah, look at this. He loves it. Munoz. Short hole six.
If you have the right yardage, that is what you should be doing on this hole.
Abraham Anser. They've moved the tee up at the eighth hole and we may be seeing more of that.
Abraham Anser. He's got it about six feet for eagle at the par four. Dino's turn.
Zaini's up and down. It's a fine shot from the Southern Guard player. John Rahm on the left
side of this fourth green. Looks like he's got a lower loft club trying to bump it into that slope.
Run it up. Great touch by John. Oh, it's a wonderful shot from there.
Abraham Anser for a very impressive eagle at eight. Oh, Charles Howell from the green side
bunker on the tenth hole. The par five. That was quick from there. Bryson to five. Yeah,
he managed to catch it down slope there. Fairly flat line for Bryson. Maybe just a touch above
his feet. This one needs to move a little left. Oh, members bounce. This is to get back on the
birdie run. Five on the left and six for two. Tom McKibben, the Ulsterman. Nicely done.
He gets it to six under par, four under for his run today. Jason Kokrak at the party hole
for birdie across the hill and downhill from there and never looked anywhere else.
The 18th is a par four. Here's MK Kim with a second shot. That's got every chance. Oh, yes.
He's aiming this just left of the hole. Oh, yes. Manhattan. This will derail him.
He's going so nicely, but this is for par at nine. Look at this. Still on the rails as it happens.
Jason Kokrak has this putt for birdie on it for eagle. Hello. What a nice move from Kokrak.
Brendan Steele. The crowds are getting involved on the twelve.
Oh, that's the closest all week to a third ace in live golf history at the watering hole.
It's interesting. Cam Smith's just taking a very obvious peek at the club there. Nothing
wrong with that. Hello. Oh, thank you, Kim. Again, two chips in a row. It avoids the embarrassment
of putting. Brandon Grace. Another eagle putt on eight and this one finds the hole.
Brandon Grace joins the leaders on twelve under par. He's got to slip the sand wedge underneath
this, try and catch the ball in the center of the face. No divot. Oh, that's magnificent.
Just an exquisite shot. Cam's the main man so far for the Australians today,
four under his round through his opening seven. Delightful shot. The softness of that bounce.
Beautiful. And DJ on 14 par three. Up the hill. Short right pin. Wow. Tracking. DJ.
Royale here in Adelaide. They're level for the lead on 13 under. That is not left and it's not right.
It's right. All right. Here's Bryson. Well, he got away with murder here,
completely carried all the trees with his five wood. And now this is not too difficult of a chip.
I judged that first bounce beautifully and got a little check on it. That tap in birdie for Bryson.
Tyrell from behind the green on 10. How good is this? What a shot. Wow.
We've seen many different putting grips over the years, but this one I've never seen, David.
Yeah, it's something you don't practice. You got the weight dead right.
Here's Cam. Magical. Brendan Steele for eagle at 13.
Anthony came from a sandy lie on 10. Third shot. Thomas Dietrich on 14 par three. 146 yards.
Oh, I thought that was going to skip up and actually scare the hole for a minute.
Leishman on 15. Hit it left of the tee. That's a decent angle.
This is the 13th hole and Peter Uehlein with his third shot at the par five.
Beauty. Oh, this place is going to be so loud if this goes in. Just about two or three balls right
with a little wind. Urban Lahiri from the bunker on 11. Coming at pace. Now it's incumbent upon
these Aussies, one of which is Elvis Smiley, teeing off at six to close the gap as much as
they can in these closing holes in the third round. That would help. Well, if this second
shot from John Rahm gets to the green, it's going to be one heck of a smack. This is his
forearm ball below his feet. That's turn left. That's the side he didn't want to miss it on.
Tyrrell at 16. The birdie. How many times are we going to say that today?
Tyrrell is 14 under par. Oh, the pace at which that ball went in.
Look at this, David. Oh, imagine how small the hole is at that pace.
And they are one of the best crowds in the world.
Surely he's not trying to hook this, is he? He is, Jerry. Oh, my goodness. Hook it a little
bit anyway. It's a 40 yard shot. Couldn't get the contact. Didn't like it. Now Bryson. Yeah,
this is a really tight lie. He's going to try and land this on that top plateau and then one
skip with a check should move too much once it gets to the hole. What a shot.
This is extraordinary from Bryson Dechambeau at the moment. He's seizing the momentum and
seizing control. Lucas Herbert punching one out from underneath the trees. Look at the side spin
on that. And it's going to come back. Incredible. That's an amazing shot. The creativity.
The worst part about this bogey is that he sets up a two shot swing opportunity for Bryson
Dechambeau. Bit of a backstop for Bryson.
John going from the deck. Adam saying the nine is going to be pushed too far left. He's going
with just a chippy eight. And you really hope he gets right on the wind. The nearby ripper flags
right at the tee are almost dead still. But the trees behind the tee and behind the green are
moving. Cut it up against that wind. The line is better than normal. This is a remarkable run
for Bryson Dechambeau. He's turning it into a procession at the moment. Terrell Haddon for par.
What a shot again. Well at four behind John Rahm. If he can manage to pop this one in,
we'll make the hole look a little bit smaller for Bryson Dechambeau. He says it's in his DNA
to fight to the very last hole John Rahm. Champions don't throw in the towel.
Barely put at 17. Looks good. He might have a shot but that still looks very difficult to me.
Yeah he definitely has a shot but it is pretty powdery and soft. Although that is slightly
firmer than where it was before. He got a good contact. That is amazing. Absolutely amazing
that he can make that exact contact from that lie. Well it's 20 holes since Bryson made a bogey.
Well finally he gives one back. Rahm needs something a little better than he hit yesterday
off the tee where it ended up on the 10th tee. But he didn't end up making birdie nonetheless.
Oh he doesn't like that. It's left again. Just hasn't been able to rely on that hard fade that
he normally hits. And that is the wrong side to miss it on. It's the same car path that he hit
yesterday. Oh yeah actually you know where he is may not be bad. John Rahm getting his rolling from
Brad Allman. Yeah Kraus is not playing it but it's the same movie we saw yesterday. It's only
about 20 yards from where he was yesterday and we know the routine. He drops it out
beyond the bicycle fencing which is all part of the TIO and just exactly where he was yesterday.
A way to end his round. That's an eagle at 18 and he ties Bryson DeChambeau.
Bryson now has got to land this in the front part of the green.
One check to the top of the slope and let it drift down.
He had to putt across his shadow at a 64. What a topsy-turvy battle between these two
heavyweights of world golf. Absolutely extraordinary. We're off for a lie down.
I think we need it before tomorrow. John Rahm and Bryson DeChambeau.
Neck and neck on 19 under par after one of the great days golf in live history and of course
John Rahm's eagle has padded Legion 13's lead by two shots to five.
