Neighbors in Philadelphia find themselves in a too familiar predicament.
Back roads covered in snow and ice.
Action news reporter Leland Pender live for us in Roxborough, a neighborhood that's often hard to get around in a storm after like something like this.
Yeah, John and Sarah.
Today, though, things are looking pretty good.
Let me show you Green Lane here between Manayunk and Roxborough.
And you can see cars are able to get through just fine.
Plenty of blacktop.
Of course, you get toward the side of the street.
There we got some cars that are plowed in and then we look at the actual side streets and we can also see that they're passable as well.
But clearly they need a little bit extra work.
Now, the good news is we're not seeing a lot of traffic of vehicles out here, but folks are out on foot.
And thankfully, there is a lot of this snow, but it is fairly easy to navigate.
Light snow continues to fall this afternoon in Manayunk, but it did stop some local businesses from opening their doors on Main Street.
We're not here for long.
We may have short hours, but some people, there were people walking out in the middle of the street, so we might as well open.
Why not?
Cass says shoveling the snow outside her vape shop this storm has been more manageable than the last.
It didn't stick much, honestly, like it's a lot of snow, but I've been able to move it.
It's not super heavy.
It's not like it iced or anything like that.
So it's not bad.
Matt Gambone, who owns an iPhone repair shop next door, says the city has handled main roads well.
Smaller areas are still a work in progress.
The city did a great job of clearing Main Street, but the parking spaces, that's kind of up to whoever does it, residents, business owners, you name it.
Here's a look driving up Green Lane toward Ridge Avenue.
We spotted several people out across Manayunk and Roxborough digging out their cars.
We also saw contractors out taking on side streets.
In Renton House Square, the weight of the snow, too much for this tree.
Even as the storm is ongoing, some people are already anticipating it melting away.
It's not ideal.
I think we're all over it, but it's a lot easier than last time.
Yeah, I think his feelings kind of sum up how a lot of people feel.
But nonetheless, here it is.
We have to deal with it again.
The road's looking good.
Some of that slush is kind of getting, I guess, compacted and making some areas a little bit tougher to drive through.
But all in all, things do look good, at least where I am right now.
I also want to point out a lot of these sidewalks looking good as well as folks dig out their cars.
They're also treating those sidewalks.
That's, of course, a city requirement.
And again, when it comes to those side streets, these contractors, the smaller trucks, they'll be out for several more hours.
One guy told me he's been out since 4 p.m. yesterday.
But for now, we're live here in Roxborough.

John and Sarah.
Yeah, looks pretty good.
Yeah, I'm glad we could see the roads.
That's the important part here.
Leland, thank you.
