Appliance registration in PBI private access is very straightforward. As you can see we've
already got an existing appliance and we're going to add a second. The first step in adding an
appliance is to download the image based on the hypervisor that you're going to put the appliance
on. The three choices you have are Azure, Hyper-V and VMware ESXi. We're going to choose Hyper-V
for the sake of this example. We download the appliance as shown. What we then do is we refer
to the Parallels Browser Isolation Guide. In the appendix it walks through step by step on how to
configure the appliance on the hypervisor that you choose. So follow through that admin guide
as it says and then once that appliance is up and running you come back to the PBI console.
You then give it a name and once you've done that you choose add. When you choose add it will give
you an appliance code and at that point you copy that appliance code. You go to the appliance that
you have just started that you've just installed. You paste the appliance code in. It will change
to a status of online as it's made contact with the PBI control plane and then when you come back
to your administration console you'll see the appliance has been added successfully.
